If everyone in the thread would slow down a second they'd ask themselves obvious questions.
1. How did the home owner who changed his mind know Dad's kid played for Lions?
2. Answer. Easy. Dad bragged about it during his sales pitch when he was looking at the home and putting his bid together.
3. So, now, Dad's son does something home owner doesn't like. OK. Home owner doesn't hire dad.
That's not "losing his job".
It's just some home owner deciding not to hire him to friggin do cabinets or something.

Did you ever let us in on how many people Trump is going to have killed in your Trump = Hitler melt the other day?
That was glorious, BTW.

Blame the OP, not the player. It is still work either way. The guy who pulled the job is an idiot and pretty un-American.
Meh.
You almost certainly wouldn't be saying that if some homeowner decided not to hire a guy after finding out his son was one of the Nazi flag bearers in Charlottesville.
Just sayin.........
I mean. Like I said, I wouldn't go that route......but let's not get all high and mighty here.

The "crime" or "action" is irrelevant. Why should a dad lose his job because of his grown son's actions?
Looks like he lost out on a job, he didn't lose a job. There could be any number of reasons why he wasn't hired.

Honestly. Not okay with this. I am against this protest. But to deny his father a job because of it? No. Not okay with it at all.
If this had any chance of being a legit story, I would be with you.
But this is just way to obviously a piece of crap.

Haha, I seem to remember when people were getting fired for personally attending the nazi rally in Virginia, the reaction around here was a little different. And that was the actual nazis getting fired, not their parents.
Also, hate to break it to you and high IQ, but Spence made more on one contract than you’ll earn in your entire life, so I doubt his dad will be hurting for money based on losing a single construction job, haha.

LOL
You don't even respect the first for everyone. Just who you see fit. You are a loon and a liar.
But we all know both now.

I think the contractor is an a-hole for making the father pay for what his adult son did, but he should be allowed to choose his subs by whatever means he desires.
If that means quality takes a hit, then it come back to bite him. People who pay to live in a brand new house don't put up with sub-standard work.

I am continuously amazed, although no longer surprised, at what a whiny, hysterical little girl you can be.

Kind of like progs are inconsistent here?
I don't recall much support for nazis

A Nazi is racist. If the father thought that holding the Nazi flag was cool that would put a little of the racism flag on the father. If the father called his son an idiot and clearly didn't share his views (on racism), the homeowner would be wrong to fire him.

calling others low iq voters while not understanding the protest doesn't affect any of the snowflakes who got their feelings hurt because muh flag was disrespected is pretty f'n comical.
hats off to you

Hell. A guy at Google was tasked with going to a seminar and then told to write about it.....and got fired because he didn't come to a conclusion concordant with Google's liberalism.
We have entire categories of employee "training" dedicated to teaching people to adhere to liberal stupidity............
Watching liberals talk about "don't hurt people's career" is twilight zone shite.

He didn't lose his job, he just didn't get hired as a subcontractor for a particular job. Contractor has the right to choose someone else for the job if they see fit.
In all likelihood, the dad will end up on the plus side because since this story made the news he'll probably get a few extra calls from people sympathetic to what happened and wanting to hire him for other jobs. Lose out on one job, but end up picking up multiple jobs in its place

I don't think someone would admit to not giving out a job because of the protest but I could believe them giving the job to someone who is not anti America .
College players but read this article before they kneel for the anthem. It may come back to hurt them later.
