Van Der Zwaan was questioned and lied in relation to his work on the Tymoshenko white paper. Lots of things in the case seem to be focusing on Ukraine.

The new allegation against Paul Manafort comes in a newly unsealed indictment made public Friday. The indictment followed a guilty plea by Manafort’s longtime business associate, Rick Gates.
The indictment accuses Manafort of paying the former politicians, informally known as the “Hapsburg group,” to appear to be “independent” analysts when in fact they were paid lobbyists. Some of the covert lobbying took place in the U.S.
The indictment says the group was managed by a former European chancellor. Court papers accuse Manafort of using offshore accounts to pay the group more than 2 million euros.

Ukraine under Yanukovych was a Russian satellite in a roughly analogous way to Eastern Bloc nations during the Cold War (in fact Yanukovych fled to Moscow for sanctuary and is still there). This latest indictment isn't about Ukrainian elections. It's about unregistered foreign lobbying of the US Congress on behalf of a foreign government. We'll see over time how Van Der Zwaan and this meeting regarding Ukraine that Gates lied about plays in, though. Mueller should double back to the election attack before long.

Manafort was working for the Podestas when he was working in the Ukraine. Podesta was the head of the DNC. The same DNC that colluded with the Ukraine to defeat Trump by spreading false propaganda.

Ok, Bonds. Tony isn't John and neither were with the DNC. Ukraine didn't hack or use active measures against our election or solicit cooperation with Americans, and I haven't heard any leaks about Podesta involvement in awhile but let's all be on the lookout.
