Probably so.
Not kidding. Look up the Navy LPD 17 program. I want you to think about an original budget item of around $650 million that turned into a floating target practice ship at a cost of around $1.2 billion. Northrop Grumman and the Miss guy had the appropriations group on their side.

Then the Coast Guard Deepwater ship building bullshite program came about. What a cluster frick.
All driven by republican leadership.

That's what I would think. The common thinking is that the lazy faction of the Dem voter base will not show up to vote unless it is perfect weather and they have a real important election item to get them to show up.

I fail to see how obamacare will have a adverse impact on this state.

The governor's self-serving and illogical response to the ACA probably makes the impact a little more adverse.

In any event, the ACA is not nearly the touchstone issue among the general population that it seems to be on this board. I think Landrieu squeaks back into office in a close one.

It's going to run us further into debt and lower quality of healthcare.

Well since the idiot in chief keeps delaying portions of it I can see why low info dolts wouldn't be aware.

it means she can't be trusted, it means if the Dems call in her chips she will willingly vote the party line and then rationalize her vote to the gullible after; how many times does the point need to be made?

The only time this ignorant fat count votes against Obama, Pelosi and Reid is when they tell her she can.

How many people did she do good for with her Obamacare vote? And how many will she end up hurting?

Yep. Richard Shelby has been very instrumental in getting a lot of pork and dollars to Alabama. I'll be voting against him come his next primary. I'm sick and tired of Rhino's. They're no different than the D's, really.

folks don't realize how much support she will get from the oil and gas folks - also, one of her biggest supporters is Bollinger ship building folks - big time R guys.

Some people would call that bribing a government official for Coast Guard contacts. Not here in the United States I suppose.

You are the exact opposite of what I want in office. Waaaaaaaaaaaaay right on fiscal issues and probably middle left on social issues.

Tell that to the Dems who keep asking for push backs of policies associated with it till past the elections. They'll sleep better at night.

I'm a registered Republican who voted for her last time. Since I no longer live in LA, this was the best I could do to prevent some creationist moron with zero tenure:

That statement goes well with this statement:

This time, I will vote against her for sure. I can't stand Obama or any thing about him
