Ohio is a manufacturing state with lots of heavy industry. The recent disasters there are the inevitable outcome of a once heavily unionized state that was never intended to go red, going red. Environmental controls are being loosened; now misery and chaos
I just posted it is common with old buildings, factories, foundries, but not because they are a red State.

This even transcends your usual highest levels of stupidity.

Could be sabotage, could be an accident, could be the inevitable result of woke hiring practices where people are selected more to check a box than for their qualifications.

Do people these days not know a "metal manufacturing plant" is a foundry or mill?

The regulations implemented to prevent catastrophic incidents are The Process Safety Management Standard (OSHA) and Risk Management Program (EPA). These are federal, not state programs and they have been strengthened, not loosened in recent years. But by all means, keep bloviating about something you clearly know nothing about.

Their about page doesn't stink of wokeism.
Still leaning on that old ISO 9001 certification.
I'm guessing either old patches together equipment gave out... or sabotage.
Meth heads are gonna be sifting the wreckage for copper ingots.

That’s all folks like tarzana and otto/Celtic can do.

The news channel's video shows a pick-up on fire.. There is no fire around it and the car next to it is not on fire... Strange..

There was at least one death. A 46 year-old man from North Ridgeville, Ohio.

Nice state y'all have there.
Would be a shame if something were to happen to it if you voted for Trump.

I fully admit I have zero understanding/knowledge of the difference.
I hope I didn’t convey otherwise; I was just posting what I saw online (hence the entire screen grab).
You appear to know more than I, and I will certainly defer to you/yours with regard to any sort of commentary regarding this incident.
I see that my initial response of offering prayers for these folks was highly downvoted; but I will still do so this evening and beyond.

Holy shite!! I take some time away from this board and come back to find that tarzana has gotten even dumber.
Log off, take a lap and don’t log back on for the rest of the week. You’re in timeout.
