Massie is impeding the overall good by his refusing to stand behind the "good side". As someone mentioned, "this how politics is played ".
If Massies no longer wishes to play that game, he should resign.
While his "principled " stance may help his personal opinion of himself, it's a hindrance to Trump's efforts to change the direction of this nation.
Without a doubt, the BBB isn't what some of us wanted, but it's a start. It's a momentum builder setting a foundation for the next 3 bills under Trump, which will hopefully continue to make more substantial changes and bring us closer to a balanced budget. There's only so much that can done in one bill.

I hate this fricking ‘gotcha’ bullshite they do. Massie voted against tax cuts! No, I voted against the one line bullshite you slipped into the bill.
We are fricking doomed.

It's so wild to me that people still refuse to read Massie's own words about what he votes for and against and why.
They don't care, he's in opposition to the King. Nothing else is relevant.
And this bullshite has been happening forever. A good friend of mine did a few terms at the state level, and he said every single thing he voted yes on had bullshite in it that he hated. Every single thing he voted no on had worthwhile parts. Bottom line is ANY vote can be used in a campaign ad for your opponent just by cherry picking the issue. That's why congress has ceded so much of its power; they hate going on record.

If Republicans were really serious about spending, the border, or whatever else they pretend to support, they'd do single issue bills.
Did Massie do this?
If not…that has to ding his credibility - no?

He voted against this because it isn’t a single issue bill.
He introduced a very simple single issue bill. “Ending the Department of Education.” Have you seen Mike Johnson working on that one?

Massie comes up with a different excuse every time why he doesn’t want to cut spending and wants to raise your taxes.

Can I have his spot at the Whitehouse picnic?

$9.4B? That's it?
Not even 1 percent of federal spending. I am disappointed.
Should be able to cut 10 percent without even trying.

You are such a clown.
Massie and Paul are hypocrites.

H.R. 1319 – American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (March 2021): • Details: This $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package included direct payments, unemployment benefits, and state/local aid. Massie voted yes, a rare alignment with a Biden-era spending bill, likely due to the direct relief for individuals and businesses in his district during the pandemic.
Massie and Paul are hypocrites.
