So he served 24 years in the service, decided to leave before being deployed in a war that most of the board believes was a mistake and never should have been waged, and this is all a bad thing?

I won't be surprised if he's tossed out within a couple weeks once his Baggage is aired out.

At least the "paper" or whatever it is that you linked LED with the word "PAID" in the headline. Your title, OTOH, was intended to misrepresent this ridiculous thing as a serious accusation. "Paid letter" indeed. lol

The guys who paid for it, ya dope.

Dude he abandoned his troops! It’s bad enough you take paychecks and promotions and bail when shite gets real. It is 1,000,000 times worse when you are their Senior Enlisted Leader and don’t have to balls to go into harms way with your brothers! WHAT A frickING P@SSY,

To criticize this man for choosing not to go to war is EXTREMELY hypocritical considering all these stances
OK. But you have to make that choice long before you're the command sergeant major of a battalion preparing to go to war.

It's not like this guy was an 18 year old private. Only a tiny fraction of soldiers who enlist will ever make command sergeant major. He voluntarily enlisted and then accepted several promotions. If you want out, you don't accept a senior position and then quit right before your unit is deployed.

So at the bottom of this page for me was an ad for an abortion clinic network.
I can assure you with the ages of our kids, and the reproductive status of the adults here... this is not a search that is happening to cause this ad to be delivered. It's obviously targeting me because of political searches, sites I visit like this one, etc.

If you see it. Click it. They pay per click. Exhaust their funds.

I’m kinda surprised he was able to retire. The Army had “ stop- loss” going on at some point.

You masked your troll well for weeks but every troll makes a mistake at some point.

“Aid other countries with a few dollars”

Man, you had it going but got complacent. You lost the edge.

Don't be. Military is not above criticism and has it's full share of dirtbags.

Worked on the Kerry Campaign

At times like this I remember a story from that time.

It is certainly apocryphal, and could be completely made up, but regardless, I imagine it conveys the sentiment of a large number of Vietnam Veterans.

The setup is - a lefty VV group, not the VVA (who did endorse Kerry), was contacted about the Democrat nominee:

Journo: We were calling about the Democrat frontrunner, Senator Kerry and wanted your take on his candidacy.

Lefty VV spokeshole: Well, we've worked with Senator Kerrey on many issues in the past and he has our conf... Wait - which Kerry/Kerrey (thinking it was Bob Kerrey) are you calling about?

Journo: John from Ma...

Lefty VV spokeshole: No, frick that guy. *click*

Still funny.

Oh Noes! Kamala urgently calling Stacey.

they are announcing in Philly tonight for what was to be Shapiro to try to suck up to PA.

either the real danger to our democracy will be told to pound sand and lose; or we are all majorly fricked and should head to our camps if Kamala is actually cheated in.
