Living in rural Oklahoma, pretty much every black person within my circle is as good as gold. They're like family to me.
Of course there's that one crew in town that are just straight criminals. But everyone knows who they are, and it's literally one family and they've been thugs for four generations now. But, I'm happy to report that the youngest of them that are now adults and having kids of their own, are breaking the cycle and disassociating from the criminal activities of their kinfolk.
And that's exactly where the change in the black community has to come from- from voices of reason within the black community.

They really aren’t. Black men don’t vote for one. They can make all the videos on social media they want but it doesn’t matter if they aren’t voting. Look at statistics for the black voters it’s overwhelmingly female and voting for democrats.

I work with immigrants from Africa and occasionally some AA's who never last more than a couple weeks... People from Africa absolutely despise and loathe AA's!

Where do you work? My black in-laws and friends kick butt. Multiple degrees, successful careers, etc. Don’t know anyone on assistance or stealing hubcaps.
But Africans are awesome people. Too bad we’re only gonna allow in the white ones. I’ve got a buddy from Cameroon that has gone from immigrant 15 years ago to running distribution for Anheuser-Busch. Workaholic.

I am a warehouse shift lead in a big agricultural manufacturing plant. Your experience is definitely not the norm and good for them for being responsible adults. We are a second chance hiring employer and we hire poc with some sketchy backgrounds. I work with a lot of people from Congo and Togo and they are very appreciative of the job they have and are hardworking and honest. We hire a poc from Chicago and maybe 1 out 25 will make it 3 months before they quit or are fired. Always the victim, no accountability and when you call them out on it they play the race card. I am estimating but we have probably hired 50 black people in the past 2 years and only 3 are still working with us and if you show up and do below average we won't fire you... Some of the things I hear from Africans in regards to AA's would definitely get the Africans in hot water if I reported them. I don't and won't report them because they are speaking the truth.

I don’t know. I’ve personally found the issue to be more of a lower class American issue vs strictly an AA phenomenon.
I work for a mobile billboard advertising agency. We hire temps around the country to drive trucks starting at $25 an hour. Easiest job in the world. They just drive around all day listening to the radio or podcasts. Frequent breaks. Nothing to it.
On the road, I’ve experienced frequent issues keeping temp workers longer than 3 days. If we hire 5, 3 will quit by the end the week. It’s both black and white workers.
Now the Mexican workers, we know they’ll finish the contract. They’re happy to get the work.
Some people have a work ethic and ambition, and it seems the immigrants coming here have a stronger work ethic than the lower half Americans that simply don’t have a desire to fill needed job openings.
