More fraud in Minnesota

All Democrats focus on is taxing the rich or increasing other taxes, claiming they can't afford social programs or their expanding government. Yet, they never address the waste and misuse of the funds they already have. In the private sector, such financial mismanagement gets people fired.
Clearly, this is intentional—it's how they take care of their voting base and funnel money back to themselves.

Add it to the growing pile of outrages over there in the corner.
Walz and Ellison were brought in for some Congressional hearings a few weeks back that made for some good soundbites and theater.
After that, it’s been pretty quiet. I’m sure the fraud up there in MN (and elsewhere) hasn’t necessarily stopped.
Many of us continue to patiently wait for some people of note to finally face some consequences (and not just the handful of low level no-names who get sacrificed at the altar).

One of their core beliefs is that "government" is the great equalizer, which dovetails into another of their core beliefs - that of everyone either being a victim who needs their advocacy or a victimizer who should vote for them to assuage their guilt.
By pumping more and more money into these programs, they "prove" they care about these victims. They overlook as much fraud as possible because it gives them a continual platform of "we need to do more" as well as sometimes/often creates a flow for some of that fraud money to make it into their campaign coffers and/or for jobs for their family and/or friends.
In other words, going hardcore in pursuing and exposing the fraud bites the hand that feeds them from multiple angles.

And additionally.. for every dollar of fraud found... that comes out of the following year's funding. Dollar for dollar.

State level investigations of fraud in Minnesota date back all the way to 2013
The first federal level insight into it was in early 2021 under the Biden FBI
In early 2022 the FBI executed search warrants that lead to indictments for over $250 million in fraud
In late 2024 the fraud investigation expanded into medicaid and housing abuses
The Trump FBI has continued uncovering more abuse
The state level democrats in Minnesota are the problem. There has been bipartisan effort spanning the Biden and Trump's second term to crack down on the fraud.
