Go home. Your side has spent the inheritance of the next 3 generations with your deficit spending.

You have no credibility on anything.

After drugs, you'll say we should allow porn in 1st grade, oh wait you already want that.

“See, if you look at the drug war from a purely economic point of view, the role of the government is to protect the drug cartel. That's literally true.”
- Milton Friedman

Youre a big spending Progressive that props up Mexican cartels, no different than those progressives who banned alcohol a hundred years ago.

Do you support first graders drinking? After all it is legal in America.

FENTANYLis a workaround to less potent drugs and wouldn't be popular with legal alternatives.

The reverse happens too. Legal weed put gas station fakes in limbo here

Far more numerous lethal overdoses? If buy it at WalMart you can be fairly confident that it's not cut with Fentanyl. And you devastate the cartels.

I'm a no on the opioids. There will be a cost to increasing opioid addiction for the government and for individuals that will be surrounded by it. As the Oklahoma person said, there are plenty of legal weed states that are doing just fine. Seems dumb to criminalize marijuana.

Seems we have plenty of drugs now, if you think about it. How many “drug” stores do you see around you? Big Pharma spends billions advertising a wide variety of stuff to cure, (sorry, “treat”), your ills away. And if those drugs make you sick, they have something for that too.

I am, generally, for legalization of cannabis. I'm open to revisiting the hallucinogens for research and therapeutic applications. The demonization of the class was a gross overreaction.

However, the "legalize everything" movement is a prescription for Hell on Earth.

I’d like to take this time to congratulate drugs for winning the War on Drugs.

So you believe if a substance costs society money to use then it should be illegal?

How about junk food and soda? Alcohol? Is obesity not a huge cost to society and government?

People still do drugs, btw. It's just that there's very little in the way of quality control and fentanyl is getting mixed in. At laast clean versions of the drugs will be available if it's legal to produce and distribute it.

It would take most of the violence out of it immediately..
The average person doesn’t realize that junkies are already getting whatever they want on demand.
Snort ,shoot up, smoke all you want. Most are just killing them selves anyway and it’s incentivizing police to go after this low hanging fruit while ignoring crimes against the working public.
I want a war on speeding and tailgating. That’s a real danger I see everyday.
