Last night I made an error in judgment by reporting an item about the president’s finances that didn’t go through our rigorous verification and standards process. I shouldn’t have reported it and I was wrong to discuss it on the air. I will address the issue on my show tonight.

Am I crazy to suggest that this really isn't a retraction.

He doesn't acknowledge the report was wrong. He doesn't apologize for the error. He basically acknowledges that he did the report without the "rigorous verification".

Hey Larry? The most important part of your retraction was the part about the Trump organization’s lawyers contacting your sorry azz network letting you know that the lawsuit is coming.

I heard DJT Jr on Hannity’s radio show this afternoon and that’s exactly what happened according to DJT Jr.

I think the octopus that picks NHL games has a more rigorous verification and standards process than MSNBC.

Two points:

1. The slander and libel laws need to be changed. Say something not true, risk actual damages, no matter if to a public figure or if done by mistake. See how quickly the well dries up and the truth starts being reported.

Public figure defense my arse.

2. cbs, nbc and abc ...and fox are all public television stations operating under a license granted by the government. I say revoke their license for the blatant disregard. Watch the heads explode. Call them into hearings and make them bring their notes for all the ACTUAL lies told. Then revoke and put it out for bid for the airwaves.
