I thought they discontinued the use of Remdesivir because of the side effects. Apparently not.

Imma let the doctors call the shots while I’m in here.

I tell you what, I won’t let someone I love make the mistake I made. They will get the monoclonal antibodies immediately and start ivermectin immediately.

First, it's interesting that we're more scientifically curious in this thread than the f'n CDC has been the last 20 months.

Now a question - you're in great shape, lift a ton, eat to build lean muscle; do you do much aerobic work?

you can ask them to take some pepcid (famotidine), its been shown to have a positive effect. also ask them to get you some claritin or zyrtec for allergies. thats been shown to help as well.

If this thread elicits that response, then it’s worth it. Everyone needs to ask these questions, be critical, and be curious. This is how we find answers.

My aerobic work mostly consists of getting my heart rate up lifting, and keeping it there. I usually keep it between 120-145. This has proven effective as much as cardio endurance, scientifically anyway.

This is where real science from a CDC or university would be nice. No scientific basis for this, but intuitively it seems to me that you take two guys, all things equal between them except one is seriously into lifting and the other is, say a serious biker, both working out 5-6 days per week - - - the biker would handle something like Covid better.

Maybe there is something out there that addresses this question, but I haven't been able to find it (looked for it six months or so ago). I even asked a few questions of TD's resident MDs and wasn't able to learn much.

That would be a great study. I know my lungs and heart are strong AF. We need to study everything and more answers brings us closer to better treatments.

I'm on day 5. Just lost my sense of taste and smell. Other than that just typical body aches pains you get when you have the flu.

No fever, minimal cough, cough is productive when it occurs.

Was vaccinated at end of april.

Six month old had it first. Got it from the babysitter. Shes fine.

Only treatment for me in dayquil/nyquil with vitamin c. Staying hydrated.

Tell us more about your kidneys and why bloodwork is needed every 3 months.

Existing inflammation is a huge issue with Covid.

that was me then it changed. If you can go get the monoclonals, go get them. I was fine for the first 6 days, didnt take it seriously. if you have ivermectin take it, and go get those monoclonals.

It 100% has to do with genetics.

Everyone on my dads side of the family has had it, myself included and nobody has had any real issues.

I’m similar to you. My BMI is 30, but my body fat % is around 16-17%. I lift 5x a week and do cardio for 20-25 min after.

My dad has a BMI of about 40 and doesn’t do shite, and he was still fine.

Being in shape greatly reduces your risk of severe complications, but I believe genetics has an even bigger role
