And it’s not even about anything DeSantis does…it is anyone that is popular and not Donald Trump. They have never cared about policies etc.

Until someone can illustrate what a non-corrupt Trump admin would look like, i dont really care what Trump’s policies are.

Palling around with Lindsey Graham doesnt help.

Trump is my guy because he is a chaos agent that represents the anti-establishment. If hes going to bring the establishment in, then he loses that appeal for me.

What we need more than anything else, is to break the business as usual bureaucracy. If everyone Trump brings into his admin ends up secretly being a rhino plant…

ETA: obviously with all of that said, no matter what im not voting for Biden.

If BDR doesn’t get it, I won’t vote for Biden. Stop putting all of us in one basket.

Utterly incorrect. Other than gun issues and the climate, I'm probably right of center on almost every political talking point.

You should be smart enough to know that no judge would rule on the merits of the matter. No judge wanted to touch it with a 10 foot pole either because of the forces aligned against them, the media, the establishment, etc…they usually just dismissed it outright or chalked it up to some BS like “no standing”.

Thus the cheating was never properly addressed as a whole and until someone in a position to address it steps up, we will keep having similar outcomes as we did in 2020. But to say that just because there was no legal “win” so to say equates to there not having been rampant cheating is just being intellectually dishonest.

Never Trumpers will NOT vote for DeSantis, if he were to win the primary

I don't believe that. Just look at DeSantis' governor's race in 2022, and compare it to Trump's Florida election results in 2020!

Trump carried Florida by 3.5% points in 2020, whereas DeSantis won his race by 19.4%!

It certainly seems that at least in the state of Florida DeSantis has far more broad appeal that Trump. There's no reason to think that favorability doesn't translate nationally.

Well then these people deserve every terrible thing that happens during potato-head Biden's reign of stupidity for voting personality over policies.

The inference you make is emblematic of your bad logic.

Here's the best explanation of why the numbers were so different:

RDS Election Reform 2021

quote:

Today, Governor Ron DeSantis signed into law Senate Bill 90, Florida’s new election integrity bill, strengthening voter identification, prohibiting the mass mailing of ballots, banning ballot harvesting and prohibiting private money from administering elections in our state. “Florida took action this legislative session to increase transparency and strengthen the security of our elections,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “Floridians can rest assured that our state will remain a leader in ballot integrity. Elections should be free and fair, and these changes will ensure this continues to be the case in the Sunshine State. I’d like to thank our legislative leaders on this issue – Senate President Wilton Simpson, House Speaker Chris Sprowls, Senator Dennis Baxley, and Representative Blaise Ingoglia.” “Florida leads the nation in election reforms because the Florida Legislature and Governor have taken a proactive approach to review and address any election issues,” said Senate President Wilton Simpson. “Safeguarding and maintaining the integrity of our elections is important to all of us. We all lose when people have no confidence in the integrity of an election. That’s what we want to avoid. We don’t want to backslide. Florida was a model for the nation in November, and that is something we can all take pride in. With this legislation, we are codifying provisions of the Governor’s executive order that were largely credited as a reason Florida’s 2020 general election went so smoothly, and why results were available much quicker in Florida than in many other states. I appreciate the Governor’s leadership on this important issue.”

This explains the 2020 election results outcome better than anything I've encountered on Politalk so far. People constantly talk "fraud" and "brrrrrrrr" and mail-in voting and early voting and "The Fix", but the above terse comment encapsulates the political zeitgeist of today's America.
