This is where I think JD Vance is underrated. He is well educated at Ohio State and Yale, but does not present a nerdy lab geek appearance. He is also a dad with kids and is not some out-of-shape bad-looking schmuck.
I think Vance holds his own on the visual presentation on stage stuff that Newsome would supposedly win.

Y’all are severely underestimating his lack of ability to even look like a good person.
And his head is so big he gets confident and refuses to chill. He needs the zinger. He needs to be look strong. He can’t help himself and it comes off as soul crushingly cringey and nasty every single time.
Vance will most likely have MAGA looking more compassionate than Newsome makes the left.
And he’ll have to explain to the American people why they’re ready to go back to open borders and fraud blanketing our country.
He’s a terrible candidate.

I know what you mean exactly. I've witnesses these types of women you speak of at cocktail parties' blather on about how they "aren't liberal or progressive" but yet they hate Trump because he's so "divisive and mean spirited." I think you’re severely underestimating the amount of people who will vote for him because of his physical appearance. They won’t listen to or watch a single second of any debate.

I agree with this. People forget Ron DiSantis annihilated Newsom in a debate a couple of years ago. It wasn't even close. Vance should have no problem tearing a fraud like Newsom to shreds..
