Just curious Petty, have you watched the full video with sound on?
Not media snippets, the entire video.
Can you link me what you want me to watch?
I've not seen anything that would indicate the shooting began before the confrontation/struggle.
I do not condone the shooting, I just don't see it as an ambush killing. I see it as a reckless and stupid ambush detention that led to a killing.

It was an aggravated assault, which was pre meditated and did result in his death. That is Murder One.
Hopefully they don’t overcharge here. Not sure what it should be but that’s happens before.

Honestly, there are several nuggets of truth in your post. But so long as you make these sweeping definitive statements, nobody is going to take you seriously.
Black people who do well in school do have an easy path to higher education in many ways - I agree.
Black people who do well at good colleges will be highly sought for employment - I agree.
But have the easiest road? You need at least a bunch of caveats to make that close to true.

Again, we seem to be splitting hairs here. What proof do you have that they premeditated to do this this. Do you know for a fact that they planned on assaulting him?
I don't know and won't pretend that I do. As I stated before, neither you nor I will have any say in this case. We will both sit back along with everyone else in the cheap seats and Monday morning quarterback what ever decision is rendered.
In regards to GA law, I would concede that it is entirely plausible that it could be deemed to be murder. I would actually like to see how this one is presented on both sides.

That is how I see this as well.

He was outside of the the door when Arbery was headed up the left side of the truck
Yes he was outside of the door, but we are looking at the truck from the back. He was behind it, meaning from the back he was behind the door. From the front, he was in front of the door.
I don't know what you mean by Arbery was headed up the left side of the truck. In the video he went right (passenger side).

He then moves to the front of the truck and towards Arbery
I disagree on this, but it is difficult to see. If I look at the feet behind the door, they never move.

When Arbery approaches the truck, he is initially on the left side of the truck. If you freeze the video there, Junior is standing to our left of the drivers side door, even with the door or closer to Arbery than the driver’s door. By the time Arbery gets to the front of the truck on the right side, Junior has moved to the front of the truck, even with the headlights.

Would you be surprised if the son gets involuntary manslaughter and the dad walks?

Whether they premeditated an aggravated assault or not doesn't matter, all that matters is whether someone dies during the commission of certain violent felonies. If that's the route the State of Georgia takes, they will have to prove there was an aggravate assault. That seems to be a pretty big question of fact for the jury to decide

Oh, so you're a troll. Makes sense.

I agree. If the prosecution pushes for 1st degree, they walk.

That was my point. I may not have said it clearly enough.

This would be my guess.

The facts on the video show that Travis moved aggressively to cut off Arbery's egress and then fricking shot him the millisecond he turned in Travis' direction
Your heels are dug in, I get that.
But please explain how you believe the above to be true when AA clearly takes a left turn to advance on the younger son.
AA is shown on the right side of the truck while running by. Next frame he wrapped around the front of the truck and is now on the left side....all without being touched.
FWIW, I'm not a defender of the two shooters, just seeking the truth like many of us here.

This is the video I watched. at 15 seconds Arbery is on the right side of the truck. At 16 seconds he is on the left. Junior is always on the left.
The argument MoreisLes made is whether or not Junior stopped Arbery from fleeing. Or who instigated the contact. Because junior was always on the drivers side of the truck while Arbery went from right to left, that looks like Arbery initiated contact. Now if Arbery was blocked then that's different as well, but he wasn't, there was plenty of room to evade. If Arbery tried several times to evade and decided to fight, then that's different as well. That would be speculative though.

I fully agree.
Watching it all at full speed, it certainly looks like Arbery came around to make contact. He's moving pretty quickly (it appears, and it definitely seems like he wraps around to make the confrontation. And again, if Arbery is shot before contact was made, I missed it.
