Interesting that the article lays out the problem of not having affordable housing,
and then cites the inverse relationship between housing, zoning and building code regulations and affordable housing.
The answer is right there. Regulations are hidden taxes, they make costs go up.

Democrats today are nothing more than socialist / communists. Simple fact. You want to take from those who work and redistribute to the leeches of society.
I have no problem helping those who help themselves. Problem is your ilk have raised an entire generation of give me give me give me leeches and now they just want handouts and not jobs.
Literally everything he stated is factual about a large portion of your party.
Tax tax tax. I'd be more than happy to raise the minimum wage if at the same time welfare was set to expire. Work or die. simple as that. In your alleged mercy you democrats have created a permanent underclass unwilling to work.
Just look at the state that added a 20 hour a week volunteering requirement to welfare. Over 80% decrease in claims because they were unwilling to work just 20 hours a week volunteering.
