That's Georgia's standard; not aware of that being in effect anywhere else in statewide elections.

Arizona is the same place that sent us McCain, Jeff Flake, and Sinema
McCain was a Democrat by the end of his career. Flake didn't run for reelection because he knew Republicans wouldn't support him. Sinema benefited from having a retarded MAGA Martha McSally as an opponent.
I will acknowledge you can't run a retard and win elections in AZ. The Left learned this on a national scale last Tuesday.

How do you explain Gallego divorce his wife while 9 months pregnant and father in jail for being a drug smuggler. The media covers for them by never covering it. Look at the difference between the media coverage of Gallego and Mark Robinson in North Carolina

And yet…
McCain
Flake
and
Sinema
all won.
Biden (according to you) legitimately won in 2020.
Plus you have a legit nut job for governor.
What history prior to this (closely watched) election seems to prove is that Arizona has loved them some retards.

Gallego seems to be getting just enough votes.
I thought these were heavy red dumps coming.

Well, yeah - the media is ridiculously liberal and activist.
I think Lake is a shitty candidate but there's no doubt that a point made earlier in this thread is true - - - McConnell fricked Lake by not supporting her. Democrats monopolized Arizona airwaves with "Reuben is a war hero that''s tough on the border and an inflation fighting family man, and oh - TRUMP ABORTION BAN!"

Those guys aren't retards. I'm not sure what your point is here.

You made this up.

Yes, a liberal nutjob that was smart enough to, as she put it, "let Kari make the election be about Kari Lake".

tru dat - I have no insight at all on AZ politics, but I just cannot fathom the hatred on here for Kari Lake.
I can only evaluate based on what I see myself - and I have never seen her utter a single word that I didn't agree with.
I don't give a shite if someone loved Obama a decade ago - or if they hated Trump back then.
I myself hated Trump during the '15 primary season - because I knew nothing about him except his 'public persona' - which to me was a flamboyant rich playboy - everything I detest. But after I watched what he SAID and what he DID I'd crawl naked over broken glass to vote for him.
People change with new information - Hell - look at VANCE - our new VP elect - he 'hated trump' back in the day. But learned differently when finding out the real facts.
SO - I ask again - for the umpteenth dozen times - WHAT IS IT that primes all this Kari Lake hatred????
I won't wait for an answer because nobody has one.

Does anyone have a current breakdown of the numbers?
LINK
# of votes left to count by county
351,000 in Maricopa
120,907 in Pima
38,941 in Yavapai
31,900 in Cochise
31,101 in Yuma
If you wanted a quick (but not totally accurate) idea of where Maricopa's votes are that are ready to tabulate (95,000ish) you can look at their website and look at House races within Maricopa.
LINK
AZ-1 has 17,609 (leans red)
AZ-3 has 10,523 (dark blue)
AZ-4 has 13,169 (leans blue)
AZ-5 has 18,171 (dark red)
AZ-8 has 22,336 (dark red)
AZ-9 has 12,630 (dark red)
That's an overly simplistic way to look at it and doesn't include the 235,000 estimated number of early ballots left to process. There's also no way to know how well Lake is doing in each of those districts or where in those districts votes are outstanding. Republicans are having success in Maricopa so far but she's been trailing there throughout. So a "lean red" AZ-1 might be voting for Trump/Gallego/Schweikert. I counted it as lean red because Schweikert is up 52/47 but Lake may be losing in that district.

Good Post. Kari Lake is a female Trump. My experience working around women my whole life is some weak men hate a strong alpha women. I love them because it's a challenge to tame them. But when you do, the power transfer is extraordinary

Yeah. I’d be absolutely floored if she won. I don’t think it’ll be allowed
Posted on 11/9/24 at 10:36 am to David_DJS
Yep, those Pima numbers might be too large to overcome. Hope I'm wrong, but I'm worried that I'm not.

Lake will need to win the election day votes in Maricopa by probably 15 pts to win.

You're asking an empty question.
Outside of the Left, nobody hates Kari Lake. You understand that I can think Kari Lake is a bad candidate - as in she's not good at it - and also be 100% onboard with her politically and vote to put her in office, right?

She is anti McCain anti RINO and hated by the cucked so called GOPers in a purple state. I bet she would easily win a House seat, but a statewide election puts her in the sights of those that despise her. She should be running away with this election if there were a true GOP majority.
