You may well be right about that, to an extent, but conversely, there may be an incorrect assumption about that, much like occurred with the 2024 election.

There are going to be a lot of people that voted for Trump that acquire TDS... Trump Disappointment Syndrome. For voters that voted on issues--not peronstality--Trump is a complete disappointment. This bill puts him firmly in GWB territory. With the exception of immigration, Trump looks more like Mitt Romney at this point than anything transformative. It's sad to see.
that's correct
Trump lied to us the entire time

Well then maybe you don’t necessarily fall into that category and have a more nuanced line of thinking on everything Trump. In which case I applaud you. Not simply because you are willing to openly commend Trump on a given matter (which I’m gleaning from your insinuations that you are), but there are plenty others who do clearly fit that description.
There might be one or two around here who fit that description.
Reasonable people who are Conservatives (real ones) understand Trump isn’t going to be the most Conservative politician but governs fairly Conservatively on most issues and can applaud him when he does. But when they disagree when he doesn’t (like pushing huge spending omnibus bills) it sends you and others into seething rage. And that causes you and others to perceive there being far more of the people you describe than actually exist.

Massie makes promises in 2024, then goes back on his promises in 2025. Trump delivers in 2025.

I speak specifics on plenty of topics to plenty of people. But I’m not going to intentionally try to have a conversation with an unhinged, angry loudmouth. That would make me a crazy person to do that.
Sorry man, it’s just you.

Please tell me the alternative. What should Trump do? How will he get it passed? And what will be the election consequences?

WE need to grow the ecoonmy, bring more money in by other means, and continue to cut out fraud and waste.

You **** are almost as insufferable and stubborn as the left.

No you don't
If you kept pretending to be a conservative, and then spoke on specifics in regard to fiscal policy and warmongering, you'd be catching your own self lying.
I've only noticed you posting here the past month or so, and you do nothing buy cry with ad hominems. You don't give an absolute shite about being fiscally responsible and you don't give a shite we send so much money into the military industrial complex cycle.
ETA: you cheer war and death, and then pretend to be a Christian

No. What makes you say that?
Roger defined the lack of a death tax as “stimulus.” I know we don’t agree on Trump, but I was hoping you hadn’t gone over the cliff like him.

Wrong again, with melodramatic and emotional incorrect presumptions. As usual.

I heard Massie is polling at under 30% approval in his district. Ouch.

According to the survey of likely GOP primary voters in Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District, only 19% say they plan to vote to reelect Massie regardless of who challenges him. That number drops even lower — to 14% — if former President Donald Trump endorses a primary opponent.
I was wrong. He’s got 19% support in the District.
