I'm not a doomday type person but this country is in bad trouble. OSC calling for radicalization, playing the card of 'we're not going back to brunch, etc. They're calling for war. This is going to get very very nasty. We're about to see who really wears the robe in Washington.

And as unpopular as it might seem, even if he was a racist that’s his privilege. Humans are complicated, filled with layers of bias and preference yet still capable of contributing some good into this world. I’ve seen racists older folk still find the heart to take food to black families after the loss of a loved one, or take clothes to another family whose house had burned. There’s no one way to eliminate racism completely and bullying and shaming certainly will only cause people to lock in their previous held beliefs. Because we all hate assholes no matter the color.

It’s time regular people get involved in local politics. Some people here would make excellent politicians and if you look at the #’s to actually win, they are very small.
