he is doing this strictly for publicity.
He is on tv multiple times per day.
I am sure this has raised his profile quite a bit for future litigation.
Or maybe Stormy Daniels has a wealthy patron. Time will tell.

You are saying that an former employee of trump inc selling access to trump isn't problematic? Seriously?

He has never been a member of the Trump administration and none of his attempts to get meetings for his clients ever went through. His access was so poor that ATT finally gave up on him.
In light of this, "selling access to Trump" is a bit of a stretch. So try again, what is this pertinent to?

Cohen is Avenatti. Avenatti is Cohen

So exactly who is paying Michael Avenatti? And is he a lawyer, an opposition researcher, a journalist, or a campaign operative?

The more you peel back the onion, the more Cohen and Avenatti seem alike. Both are fixers who bend every rule they can get away with. Fairly or unfairly, Cohen is being put under the microscope and we can rest assured that every payment in or out will be fully scrutinized by law enforcement. But Avenatti can’t be given a pass on these issues. Americans are entitled to know just who this guy is, who is writing his checks and whether he legally obtained his information.
Cohen is Avenatti. Avenatti is Cohen

While I get the play on words, you can bet that Avenatti has a contingent fee contract with Stormy.

Avanetti has only said a couple of dozen times the fees are being paid via donations to crowdjustice.com page set up by him and Stormy.
Rush probably knows this, but also knows acting like he doesn't diverts attention away from the real story.

selling access to trump
Thanks.

No one is selling anything. Cohen doesn't work in the administration and these dollar amounts being thrown around look like pennies next to the direct political contributions and lobbying efforts that these same companies actually make. For Example, ATT openly donated 2M to the inaugural committee. If these are "bribes", they are horrible excuses for them.
The NYT is reporting that Mueller has already looked into this and moved on. Questions are starting to pop up about who Avenatti is really working for and how is he getting access to illegally obtained information. This will be another Fusion GPS shite sandwich for dems. Its only a matter of time.

From a strictly legal standpoint, the case is a loser for Avenatti and he knows it. Cohen if he is competent undoubtedly had power of attorney from Trump for situations like this so the NDA was very much enforceable and then on top of that they brought the issue to an arbitrator and in binding arbitration the arbitrator said the NDA was enforceable. If this case went to trial, no doubt Cohen's lawyers would bring thatup and Avenatti would not have a leg to stand on. On top of that even though he's bringing a defamation case, that's pretty laughable as well.....read the details, most judges would force him to either settle for a small amount or laugh this guy out of the courtroom.
He's a Democrat operative that is using Cohen as a way to get at Trump, but he made a critical mistake in obtaining a SAR.....his arse is in a crack.....big time
