the headline of Bondi's hearing: is that Grassley had a very thick binder of all of the letters he sent to the DOJ that went ignored. Bondi promised she would answer them.
So Blumenthal and Hirona had no other choice but to gripe about the sudden independence of the DOJ from POTUS. That failed.
So then they went with Kash Patel bashing.
I was pleasantly surprised that Thom Tillis stood up for Kash Patel full throated and was on his way to meet with him.
