There’s nothing supposed about it

Do they mean the people who wanted to remove “Merry Christmas” from our language?

Truth. The radical left and the billionaire elite supporting them are infected with pure evil

Women celebrating abortion, mutilating children in sex change surgery, murdering political opposition. That’s not an idealogical difference, that’s just pure evil

The answer is yes.
Agree or disagree, THAT is (at least) an interesting question.

But the villagers have all bought into the "stupid Libs don't understand that Christmas is a Christian holiday" nonsense. Posts to that effect constitute, what ... 60% of the posts on this thread?

I love how they are trying to steal Christmas. I knew they didn't have standards and morals, but that is an awful look.

Far-right parties are claiming the festive season as their own, recasting Christmas as a marker of Christian civilization that is under threat and positioning themselves as its last line of defense against a supposedly hostile, secular left.

Supposedly, my arse.

I didn't see the poster's name

but I read the post:

Selective quotation is selective.

Let's look at the ENTIRE quote
quote:
recasting Christmas as a marker of Christian civilization that is under threat
The nature of Christmas as a Christian holiday is not in question.

The QUESTION is whether it is "under threat."
And I KNEW it was you

For a period, it was considered uncouth in certain big blue cities to say "merry Christmas".

Even today, I still see random assholes saying "happy holidays" because they fear being seen as a bigot or some shite. Or you get the ones who have to let you know that they don't celebrate Christmas, when you tell them merry Christmas.

I don't celebrate hanukkah but if someone told me happy hanukkah, I'd say thanks, because I'm not going to try and knock someone for wishing me well during a holiday they find significant.
