I would push and ask what is the harm in trying if he is not going to make it without it anyway.

I'm going to bump the cases he has won. I don't know of anybody that would say that ivermectin WILL cure him, but we do know of cases where it has.
The thing about this guy is he now works with Drs who have the protocol for ivermectin in this stage.
If he can not immediately help you. I pray he has somebody close enough that can.

How far are you from the hospital where your dad a patient?
I would suggest you call that attorney jjdoc told you about now. Dont wait. Maybe the attorney can write somethiing to buy some time.
Then, I would arrange a trip to go to the hospital and talk to the highest person on the list. His doctors as well.
