Or that Adams has agreed to testify against other bad actors. Happens all of the time.

That’s usually a plea with a cooperation clause.

Did you read the letter to Bondi?

You also completely dismiss that Adams may have agreed to become a DOJ witness.

I dgaf. The executive can drop whatever cases it wants. It has absolute prosecutorial discretion. Just like Biden’s DOJ refused to enforce immigration laws.

Also, a new executive can always put in his own people. It happens every time a new DA is elected.

I’m pretty sure he was referring to Sassoon as a man earlier in the thread.

Prosecutorial discretion ain't a new concept.

I'm pro-Trump. This won't matter in the long run. I think DOJ is in good hands.

Just seemed like an unforced error to try to dismiss without prejudice.

Clerked for Scalia. Impeccable credentials. Absolute fire of a letter to Bondi.

Guess the depoliticization of DOJ lasted a whole week or two

Well she cant be too smart, trying to indict him over some bullshite zoning code nonsense for a building.

He is the mayor of NYC, Schumer is making nine figures off "build back better" and the best the mayor can do is a million dollar code kickback??????

It was a hit piece and if this lawyer cant figure it out, its good she is gone.

Can't say I blame her.

Here is what the precedent has done in Jackson.

Lumumba and the other defendants are thinking their charges get dropped too because Bondi and trump don't want to fight public corruption

its like flying an airplane. If you're in a steep left bank, returning the controls to neutral still leaves you turning left.

It’s always so funny to see you progressives melt when the consequences of your actions start happening.

its amazing that the progtards can just now see politicization of the judiciary in NY. It's been a bastion of of blind justice for years eh?

In what way do you think this is a response to or refutation of what I posted?

This is a full blown meltdown.

You couldn’t keep up the lie that you weren’t a lefty for even a month.

There's definitely a quid pro quo in this, but I don't buy that Sassoon is solely upset that the "rule of law" isn't being followed. She's upset she won't get to be the prosecutor who convicted a NYC mayor and sent him to prison for the first time in history. This is a career case and now it's gone.

Trump’s US Atty for the SDNY resigned less than a month on the job because she didn’t want to go along with a quid pro quo directed by upper-level DOJ

It’s so rich considering all the hee-hawing about depoliticizing DOJ. That’s it. It won’t move the needle on anything really.

She still didn’t beat the Mooch’s record for fastest tenure
