The elimination of voter fraud through voter ID laws and natural immigration trends would take care of this
You think the liberals will just leave Houston, Dallas, Austin, Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Cleveland, etc.? No, they'll organize, still dominate the media and push the new ship left. O'Rourke almost beat Cruz in Texas. Voter ID laws can't fix everything.

One of the biggest problems is that republicans will never stand up to democrats even if they do get power. The notion of voting in republicans to change things or to stop the left is beyond laughable.

Put me in charge of the republican army during the divorce

I’ll make Hitler look like a good person

1) when laws are pushed through that are antithetical to the progressive movement many in Austin, etc will move
2) when non workers are forced back into the workforce through the revamping of social welfare programs many more will migrate
I don't know that you're going to find a conservative enough new country to do this easily.

The globalist progressive DNC will then be replaced with a new party more reflective of traditional American values and the public discourse will allow the nation to pass meaningful laws and reform without gridlock
It isn't that cut and dry. There will still be leftists. And, gridlock is good.

The media will be cleaned out and replaced by entities actually reporting facts rather than propaganda
How is this clean out accomplished? There have never been news entities that report only facts and no propaganda.

The education system will be fixed via vouchers and the elimination of the politicized teachers unions.

And here is the socialism. Vouchers are government handouts.

California is a big state. It produces more agricultural products by value than any other state. And it's not like there aren't a ton of people there who know how to build houses....

You assume California would stay in tact. Most of those producers out there hate the elite left like the rest of red America does.

National Review people loved Jeb Bush, hated Donald Trump. Neoconservative who hate the middle class. The only thing the middle class are to them is people that will strap on an M-16 and go fight their endless wars in the Middle East. Think Liz Chaney.
They are the establishment republicans.

Do we want China in California?

Because this is how we get China ruling California.

Who gets Hawaii and our superiority in the Pacific?

And we would be screwed losing all the lefty tech people.

I was in a old cemetery today. No one on the board has lived a life as hard as those people. We have luxuries previous generations couldn’t even dream of.

The USSR broke up into 15 separate countries peacefully with a few exceptions. The USSR however like Yugoslavia and the Austrian-Hungarian empire before it was made up of different ethnic groups held together by an authoritarian central government. The USA dosnt compare favorably to those countries as far as our differences. A redneck Texan and a New York liberal are still linked via cultural heritage.

Despite the political divide in this country it would take an extreme economical event to break up the country.

Our government has taken Keynes’ debt theory waaaaay too fricking far. Most people have no idea how many 0’s are in a trillion. Our system of fiat currency only works because consumers think it does.

If most consumers had a basic understanding of economic principles, civil war would be the least of our problems.
