He is the POTUS but also the most respected, plain talking leader in the world. I wouldn't say we are at risk of going to war with Russia. But our continued participation with these countries and continued stationing of troops there on rotation is a deterrent to Russia. And if Russia does attack any of those countries, we will then be in an Article 5 war. And I really believe Trump is concerned how he will be viewed as a leader in history.

IMO, President Trump committing troops to the Ukrainian - Russian war would be devestating not only in terms of American casualties, but would hand the Oval Office back to the corrupt democrats who would promptly plunge us into a nuclear conflagration.
There are many good reasons why I voted for President Trump twice, and the main reason being he promised to end the war and he kept our sons (and daughters) out of that senseless meat grinder. Obviously we're beyond any chance of a negotiated ceasefire with the Ruskies. Joe Biden is a POS for plunging us into this totally preventable war. Elections have consequences. Stolen elections have catastrophic consequences.
I like it how he told the EU they needed to pay up for their own defense. Now they're pleading with Trump to leave the troops in Europe. Not a good omen for sure.
I have been a staunch supporter of President Trump - but you want to see how fast my support for President Trump evaporates? Just let him commit boots on the ground in Ukraine.
I lost too many HS friends in the Viet Nam War to be fooled, again, by these warmongering generals and politicians in Washington, D.C. It pains me to say this - but making war is big business in some circles in Washington. While he's at it - cut the number of Four Star Generals. Believe we only had 7 during all of WWII. But I digress.
Bottom line. He promised to end the war. He didn't, but I understand it takes two to tango - Zellensky and Putin.
I'll say it - I do NOT want my grandsons (and granddaughters) dying in some blood soaked trench in Ukraine and coming home to us in body bags.
Promises Made - Promises Kept. Stay out of the Ukraine War.

It would be a war with the US, NATO is useless outside of the British navy and Poland but Britain couldn’t field an army large enough to make a difference neither could France or Germany. Poland would be our only useful ally in an actual ground war outside of Ukraine
