I remember the same uproar with the book about Obama's first year in office. Ron Suskind described BO first year as dysfunctional.
A senior official does not mean much in DC. Is this person an advisor or a gopher?

You should try to summit that mountain of assumptions. It dwarfs Everest by a mile.

They won’t answer your question because it forces them to confront their fragile emotions and fricked up world view. They can’t even admit that the NYT is probably the most respected and fact-focused paper we have. Their sky screaming prohibits rational discussion.

What exactly should have me concerned? The fact that the lobbyist establishment career politicians in DC do not like Trump? The globalist are panicking because America is cutting off their universal welfare programs through lopsided trade deals?

You consider these bad things?

We elected a billionaire businessman who is currently presiding over the best economy in American history with the lowest black unemployment and he is rolling back business regulations while increasing private business and wealth ownership. He is also trying to improve our economy through balancing trade and incentivizing American manufacturing.

What is not to like there? Explain to me why anything in that paragraph is a bad thing.

What exactly has he done wrong? I just listed plenty of things he has done right. And the only thing so far that anyone can factually say negative about Trump is that he is crass and not a polished politician. Do you have any other factual negatives of his presidency other than he is a meany pants and you cannot handle that?

Trump is dangerous because he represents the idea and reality that you do not have to be some established and lobbyist backed career politician to win office. And what is worse is that you can actually make a difference in people's lives.

The DC elite have been preaching for at least 2 decades now that you cannot be in federal government without a career in politics and even if you could you would never be able to navigate the bureaucracy enough to make any significant difference. Trump blew that narrative up. Then, once in office, he did not fold under the pressure of the propagandist MSM and globalist. In fact he went toe to toe with them and is winning. He presents a very real and very dangerous threat but it is not to the American people and Republic, it is to the uniparty establishment power.

I've an anonymous source that claims the sun will explode in two days. Now if we support the premise that what they are saying is true..

So, I am attempting to operate in good faith here and would appreciate some genuine responses.

To deconstruct a little, to get anywhere meaningful I think we have to accept three things.

1. The article is not completely made up by the NYT. The article was as they say written by a member of the Trump Admin.

2. The article was written by someone relatively high ranking. Basically, this includes anyone with direct access to the president or who is a peer with multiple officials with direct access. This seems to be necessarily true if you accept point 1. Unless the NYT is adding fraudulent information the author seems to have a high level of standing within the Admin.

3. Whoever wrote the article isn't outright lying. They disclose that they support much of the President's economic agenda and that they are happy with a lot of what he has achieved. If this is the case one wonders why they would take the risk of lying about all of the other accusations to the press.

To disclose my biases I am not a Trump voter or supporter. But I am not a total fan of the article either and have genuine concerns that there are these sort of factions and subversions of democratic will at the top levels of the federal government.

But my question is simple. If the above 3 points are true, are you not gravely concerned with the stability and fitness of this president.

Meh, I'm not going to assume any of this is true until the writer of the OP steps out of the shade and into the light with some evidence that supports their claim.

Are You and your (enabling) *patriots* as concerned with Obama/Hillary/Dem Party/Deep State CRIMINALLY CORRUPTING our highest Institutions in order to manipulate the Election Process, and after Trump still won, to take Him out (which is still going on)?

The days of a double standard for Dems are over. Either you side with EQUAL JUSTICE, or you lose total cred in criticizing Trump. Criticism, I might add, that is unsupported with ANY acts of evidentiary-supported criminal actions. It's all about His (presumed)...character. Subjective and biased presumptions re people who are at the DC trough, many with a money dog in the hunt.

Total bs re "good faith"...outside of misguided and/or naïve intent. Either way...lacking credible power.

I don't care really. At this point I am numb to the attacks on him.

The left is like a psycho ex girlfriend. This is akin to sending the new girl your old sex tapes
