Imagine taking a 2 week vacation out of the country and you return home to find a family of illegals living in your house and when you knock on the door telling them that you want your house back they tell you to go frick yourself

I recently lost an employee because of the recent ICE raids in the New Orleans area. My employee was born here and a citizen, but her "husband" is apparently an illegal who apparently is a stereotypical Home Depot construction worker. In her interview, she only mentioned a Mexican "husband" but obviously they weren't actually married.
Anyway she was visibly distraught the week of and preceding Thanksgiving. I took my daughter to work one day last week with school being out. That evening my 7 year old said Jane was quitting "because of ice and leaving town." Daughter told me she hates ice. I said, "no baby, we like ice and Trump. They are just doing their jobs. Not everyone belongs here. When your grandpa came from Europe, he did so with a visa and became naturalized as soon as he could. Our family did it the right way and so can others."
Sure enough, Monday I got a text message from Jane that she wasn't coming back to work. She obviously knew since at least Wednesday as her desk was already cleaned off. Bitch got paid for Thanksgiving day too! Haha. I hope they enjoy Mexico together.

Really? I told my illegal gf she made her choice. Fortunately she is finally listening to me and is trying to get it fixed. People need to be accountable for their actions
Just curious, how did she get here? How long has she been here?
My girlfriend is from El Salvador but is a naturalized citizen due to her previous marriage.
She has a few friends/aquintences that are illegal or have illegal family members. Their stories are always interesting.

This had a devastating impact on me personally this week.my Honduran maid didn’t show up because her assistant maid was scared that ICE is focusing on NOLA.

A visitors visa and she over stayed. She is using an NGO to get forgiveness and do the family petition. I offered to take care of her plante ticket to go back, renew the visa, the come back. She created a story in her head that I was going to visit my cuban ex in miami so she never left. Now she know she made a poor choice
