Also, still waiting to hear how realID is unconstitutional.

I venture to guess you'll be waiting a LONG time for him to answer that one. Because well, he can't.

So your answer was to kowtow to something that’s totally unconstitutional cuz you didn’t wanna wait on a security line that’s also unconstitutional? American society is incredible

Real ID is a National ID and that is unconstitutional.
It ends state and personal sovereignty.
We should not be required to be on a National ID list.

Is this another one of the endless conspiracy theories with this Real ID?
This was your response to someone stating the FACT that RealID has been extended/postponed multiple times?
It was very strange.

Nobody is required to get one. You simply have to have them to fly, if you don't have a passport, that is, and to get into most federal buildings. You don't have to get a real ID if you don't plan on doing either of those two things.
It's NOT a national ID. It's simply a set of standards that must be met in order for a state ID to be used for certain things.

So you think renewing your license periodically in order to see if you are still physically competent to drive is useless?
Yes. Absolutely. Hell yes!
Because renewals do nothing of the sort. They prove nothing except that you have $40 in your pocket or bank account.

The first thing Maxine Waters and her deranged posse asked for when they went to the Dept. of Education was an ID from the security guard. I thought it was a harship and racist to ask for an ID?

in, MS, if you have the little yellow star on the upper right corner of your driver's license, you're good to go

The last two times I flew the standard TSA check line was shorter than the pre-check.
same for me. flew out of DCA the first of March, and the pre-check line was 3 times longer than the standard line. We got through the standard line in about 10 minutes

When you renew your DL in Texas it's automatic.
It only took my PP to do it.

You will be in a National database with all of your personal and private information.
Fully implemented, it can be used to track and control travel, movement, purchases, and transactions.
During Covid - remember when they were pushing for vaccine passports?
Now that can be added to your Real ID profile.
It could eventually be linked to a social credit system like they have in China.
Medial records, bank information, etc.could be added to this database.
The feds need LESS power, not more.
I am a sovereign citizen of a state. This is Federal Government overreach by creating standards that have to be followed for state issued identification.

I've got some bad news for you. They can already do this.

You can show up without a photo id and still fly. Even after real id regulations go into effect. Just make sure you allow extra time. Happens many time a day. From www.tsa.com
“ Don’t Have Your Acceptable ID?
In the event you arrive at the airport without acceptable identification (whether lost, stolen, or otherwise), you may still be allowed to fly.
The TSA officer may ask you to complete an identity verification process which includes collecting information such as your name and current address to confirm your identity. If your identity is confirmed, you will be allowed to enter the screening checkpoint, where you may be subject to additional screening.
You will not be allowed to enter the security checkpoint if you choose to not provide acceptable identification, you decline to cooperate with the identity verification process, or your identity cannot be confirmed.
TSA recommends individuals without acceptable identification arrive at least three hours in advance of their flight time.”

Like one of the weirdo sovereign citizens, or are you just saying you are a citizen of, say, Tennessee (or whatever state) first and foremost?
quote:

ONLY if you want to fly on an airplane and do NOT have a passport or have a need to enter some Federal buildings or enter nuclear power plants.
There's no requirement to get a Real ID. At all.
