You say this while completely ignoring the boondoggle project he literally vetoed.

Then Trump signed off on a spending bill sending many times this water project amount to go to places like Egypt and Jordan and Israel.

The water project has been in the works since the 60s. It's definitely another issue that is more state than federal; but, let's not pretend Trump vetoed this out of any urges to be fiscally conservative or eliminate waste. It was his first veto and this project was to provide clean drinking water to Americans. Lot of options out there that are better suited for your first veto.

At Davos, Trump "hinted at a $800bn reconstruction fund for Ukraine" according to Alastaire Crooke. He's not interested in pinching pennies, and we all know he's going to sign up US taxpayer dollars to cover a blank check to do whatever Israel wants with regard to Iran, Gaza, and rebuilding Gaza as an Israeli vacation resort. There's just no way to believe this water project jumped out to him as wasteful spending that demanded his veto, in light of his other spending.

Remember: Trump personally called Boebert to pressure her off the Epstein files. She was summoned to the Situation Room with Bondi, Blanche, and Kash Patel. Trump vetoed a clean water project for 50,000 people in her district as punishment.

*yawn*

Makes the whole thing seem like horseshite.

You arguing that Trump vetoed this to be thrifty is laughable.

Your posting about Trump doing it to get Boebert to back off is as leftist a tactic as there is.

Just own up to it.

Tell your fellow Americans to rename their home towns to "Israel" and watch the money flow like the Mississippi.

Democrats and republicans agreeing on a bill? Sounds like conspiracy to commit fraud to me.

Just start a gofundme. If murderers and domestic terrorists can raise millions, should these politicians be able to do the same to help people?

No, it isn’t. It was a local project and not deserving of federal funding. I thought the Massie brigade like fiscal responsibility?

And to think just over 5 years ago, the admin lauded the investment in the project as delivering on a promise of unleashing America First infrastructure...

And did he ever offer any comment as to why he vetoed?

Yes.
quote:

Trump stated that the bill would "continue the failed policies of the past by forcing Federal taxpayers to bear even more of the massive costs of a local water project — a local water project that, as initially conceived, was supposed to be paid for by the localities using it."

If the bill was so popular among Congressmen, they would have overridden the veto, but they could not.

Am I the only one who has noticed that the OP was about some comments made about the Epstein files yet the majority of the posts are about a fricking water pipe? Makes ya wonder

Was this bill stand alone or part of a much larger bill?

Yep.

I thought it was interesting the post about how all female names were redacted, regardless if victim vs perpetrator. Was going to comment, saw the thread was already derailed.

So, she didn't find any names that were redacted that weren't victims but she believes there are names that were redacted that aren't victims

This context is very easy to discern if you have reading skills. If there's an email offering girls to a redacted person it's pretty self explanatory.
