I'm not sure who it hurts most. More left leaning voters will vote for him than right leaning voters but it will be the anti-establishment voters who do the voting. The people who vote for him on the left are the ones who would vote for the Green candidate or not vote at all if he wasn't running. I'm not sure the ones on the right are ones who would stay at home if he wasn't running. It is going to make polls tough to depend on because not only will you have people voting for Trump who won't admit it you will also have people voting for him who won't admit it.

He might be able to pull a significant number of the black vote.

That’s TDPT code language for “Does this hurt Trump?” Not that you didn’t know that. Just for those who may not.

This would help Biden. There are millions of people who hate Trump, but realize Biden is a vegetable and would have been forced to vote Trump. Kennedy is a lefty for sure, but he seems like the best man of the 3 by a mile.

A lot of people don't give a shite about policy, but they want to support a good man. Exactly like Cult45, except they see Trump exactly opposite of the 45ers.

Was there any chance at all you were gonna say it helps Trump? Do we honestly think that was ever an option you considered? Probably not, my friend. Probably not.

It could help Trump, maybe many dems like RFK Jr more than they hate Trump. I have never met a dem like that however.

Conservatives are split between Reagan Conservatives and Trump Populists. We should have disagreements, as we don't believe in the same things. It will shake out eventually and I suspect the Populists will win.

I certainly hope there’s a reconciliation of sorts with a somewhat “comfortable” buffer of time before the election. If Trump is indeed the eventual nominee, and the right comes together and “gets out the vote” with as much vigor as we currently use against each other, Trump can most definitely win the thing. All one has to do is study the current disposition of the left and their desperation is not hard to see. Let’s do this thing.

Trump has the nomination wrapped up. If he could be gracious it would really help. His supporters should do the same, they won. Makes no sense to make people who would normally support your guy mad by rubbing their noses in it.

Many of us will hold our noses and vote Trump no matter his behavior, but it doesn't seem smart to make folks hate both sides and just stay home.

He will pull more votes in the GE from Trump than he will Biden. Dems hate him.

Unless you're a child, you remember that Ross Perot got 19% of the popular vote nationwide in 1992.

If Kennedy gets 15% of the popular vote, it could easily cost the Democrats the election.

The Democratic machine hates him. Rank and file Democrats might very well be drawn to him.

That, and his pro choice position make him a no-go for many Republicans and an attractive alternative.

It will be very interesting to see who his running mate is. That will tell a lot.

Are we just making up fantasies now?

Kennedy would be lucky to receive 2% of the nationwide vote.

It is an interesting thought to be sure but I think specific circumstances coming to play more than a nationwide evaluation

I live in Florida he is not going to impact the national election in Florida

He will not impact the national election in other red states as well

Arizona, Michigan and Wisconsin and Pennsylvania may be a different story

I doubt he affects New York enough to home mobile
