He is being even more dishonest

That fellow wanted to share his personal perspective. He acknowledged he didn't have medical facts.
You could do the same and it would work better than what you're doing.

Maybe you would have a point if it wasn’t fricking RFK you were talking about. He isn’t your savior just because he is targeting your perceived enemies. He is using your distrust of the science establishment to launder his own personal beliefs, which he has held for a long time. It seems like you want to believe him, or give him leeway in his lies which you would never give to actual scientists, etc.

We've had mandatory vaccination in this country back to the 19th century

It’s also clear that some people do not have the background knowledge to understand why that course was pursued and in their ignorance will use any and all means to try to force us to relieve the years between Edward Jenner, John Snow, and the eradication of smallpox all over again.

Some very, very reckless people.

More like his militant opposition to the Hep B vaccine. From your tone, I’m guessing you are on the side of Hepatocelluar carcinoma like RFK. Sad!

quote:Excellent. We need someone bucking the system in that capacity. The medical community has been too insular for too long. The CDC has entirely too much influence over the public. Big Pharma has got to be checked. Govt corruption and collusion needs to be rooted out. Peer review erosion needs to be rectified. He's the perfect person for the job.
He has actual responsibility for US public health
Posted on 9/7/25 at 11:08 pm to somethingdifferent
Who gives a shite about the food dyes. Some bans may help, most probably won't help or hurt.
It's his incompetence, ignorance, arrogance, just about everywhere else that makes him a menace.

Insular in what way?

lol.

The Trump admin isn’t going to do anything about Big Pharma.

Oh yeah? How is he the person to fix peer review? What are his plans?

have your LLM explain it to me, baw.

The inverse of this is forcing people to get an illness against their will
She never understood the real problem. Apparently, neither do you

Why you morons cannot understand that is beyond me

The level of Stockholm syndrome being displayed by politicians, medical professionals, and the general public over protecting big Pharma is in itself a case study in mind control.

Nah, it’s a feature of human immunity to tie the health of the strongest to the health of the weakest. It is literally the point of infectious disease. It sucks that we have to relive the entirety of public health because you are too stupid to read a book, but that’s where we are. Oh well.

quote:Which has absolutely NOTHING to do with "good messaging." Scientists and science are not at all concerned with making people feel good or having trust in any institutions. It is simply about communicating what has been observed, period. No bias, no narrative, no persuading.
the fundamentals of it are the same as they are for classical rhetoric
Again, this is the value of what RFKjr brings to the table. Question everything. The trust is in the questioning, not in the institutions. There are people itt who are fighting against that and defending leaders who have lied repeatedly
Posted on 9/7/25 at 11:26 pm to somethingdifferent
He's shite for that.
Science needs questioning, but questioning that strengthens the evidence, not just stokes suspicion. A genuine reformer earns trust by publishing carefully, inviting replication, and working with credible peers. RFK has done the opposite, using cherry-picking and conspiracy to tear down trust rather than build it up.

quote:It was the CDCs message genius. Not mine
super-dumb, baw
quote:Then why don't we wear those masks every day, everywhere? Why did they change the "good messaging?"
Masks don't have to stop every particle. They just have to stop a sufficient infectious dose
1. Don't wear a mask. You don't know what you're doing
2. Wear a mask
3. Double mask
4. Triple mask
5. Single mask with hosiery over the mask
6. No need to wear a mask now
"Don't take horse paste even though front line doctors have evidence it works"
"You won't get infected"
"You won't transmit"
"If you question us, you're anti-science"
You have been terrible itt. You simultaneously defend the liars but admit mistakes were made. Figure it out

You could do the same and it would work better than what you're doing.
