Those same ones would be the first to cry separation of church and state if someone painted a cross.
And this board would cry there's no separation of church and state if some school wanted a cross.

quote:you mean another false religion created a false Jesus to discredit the real Jesus? It’s almost like every religion other than biblical Christianity is Satanic
If you want to see a contemporary version, just look at how Islam retconned Jesus in a similar manner.
That includes modern day Judaism. They worship Satan and in no way worship the God of the Bible. Modern day Jews spiritually are no different than Islam or Buddhism or any other false religion that denies Jesus

This is fricked up on every level. unless you worship the Devil don't put the 10 commandments up, but post this shite any of you liberals ok with this shite!
Christians do the same shite.
They claim no separation of church and state and put up their displays, then deny others.
How does your medicine taste?

quote:Bingo.
I love hearing from the we can’t afford private school camp. Meanwhile each parent drives a $70,000 car, and has a garage full of ATVs, campers, and boats.
*flashback*
My daughter, then a junior in college, wanting to impress her college friends, "Why can't you remodel the house like my friend's parents are?"
Mrs. HB - (she's not one to mince words) "Because of two reasons: number one, you were too lazy to apply for scholarships. Number two, we both promised our parents, who paid for our most of our college degrees, that we would "pay it forward" for future generations. They did without nice things, vacations and new cars. They sacrificed for us so that we have careers.
In respect to this family tradition, we can either afford to continue to "pay it forward" and pay for your college expenses, or, we can remodel the house. Which is your preference?"
Needless to say, my daughter had to eat a little humble pie.

The “god” to which child sacrifices were made…that’s basically what the liberal leftists are doing within their school systems…smh
God drowned an entire world's amount of children, targeted them specially in the 10th plague of Egypt, ordered genocide (which would have included the murder of children), etc.
Let her who has not sinned cast the first stone.

It’s why abortion is so important to these people. It’s a sacrifice.

"Max" being key.
If Republican and Independent voters can't pull their heads from betwixt their cheeks and come together to defeat Gavin in 2028, we will complete collapse by 2030, still right on schedule.
People fail to recognize the knife edge upon which we are precariously teetering.

Home schooling might cost a couple of thousand dollars for a whole year.
Not even $200 a month. That's everything...curriculum, testing, etc. You've got to be damn poor before that is a valid reason to not do it.
Far too low a figure IMO. But most of America's parents (and many who are single) right now are raising young kids, still living at the economic edge. And at that you're STILL talking about maybe 10%-15% who can still afford it -- IF they take the problem seriously enough.
quote:
Now if you're saying that BABYSITTING is expensive, yes, that's true. Which is why people still send their children to public schools......And that's why this issue—like many—is intertwined with others.
Valid point. Same issues -- Baby-sitting, pre-school, and private school are all economic challenges. But at the same time depriving young children of essential bonding-time with parents (mostly mothers).
quote:
If the traditional family structure and roles were being observed, there would be a parent available at home to teach their own children and to care for them instead of sending them off to be cared for and taught by government employees.
There ya go. The common sense solution. (But is it a realistic expectation for most?)
Unfortunately that template for a health family and society no long exists since women were convince the workplace was more important (OR out of economic necessity.) Ergo our corrupt Institutions seized their opportunity to exploit children. And us.

If this is legitimate, I would not be surprised to see more of this in the future. The education system has played the long game in rotting American values and norms. It's literally everyday we hear about an "educator" grooming a student, or pushing gender confusion, or more recently encouraging students to protest ICE for the purpose of sowing chaos.
It's an insidious evil that that hid behind progressivism and it's fictional claims of kindness, tolerance and inclusivity. Another poster summed this up pretty well, it's really just repackaged evil. Nothing new and the same forces are always behind it, just a different way of marketing it

You didn't answer the question I asked.

Well then, use your words and tell us what you think, I know you don't know, so tell us what you think. What was the motivation of the person or people responsible for a mural of moloch, in Christianity the god of child sacrifice, in a public school?
And here is your response:

If your kids were eligible for scholarships but too lazy to apply for them and she agreed to pay for their college anyway, then Mrs. HB is not the tough parent you portray.
I would have told my kids if applying for a scholarship was too much trouble for them then paying for their college was definitely too much trouble for me.

I guess next you will also argue that Satan and the Devil and Lucifer are three separate entities.

Precisely.
(Yet more people still aren't making the obvious connection?)
People have clearly been dumbed-down and anesthetized to blood, gore, violence and death (masquerading as movie, TV, music, online and video game "entertainment ". And now even school "art" murals.)
The devil's schemes never end.

Here is the question I asked:
It wasn't relevant to the discussion being had and there isn't enough objective information to establish what the mural was, it's context, etc.
So I chose not to engage in a digression attempt over something that lacks a basis from which to discuss.
