Marco Rubio is given a carefully crafted speech of soaring rhetoric and bold "Reaganesque statesmanship" -- and suddenly he is lauded and feted as the EU's new white hope?? Who's buying any of this?

That’s a Ronald Reagan level international speech.
That’s a presidential speech.
And I say that as someone who has been deeply, deeply skeptical of him due to what I would call his globalist turn after running for senate as a tea party type candidate.
There are hard truths to be faced, but there is a path back to a vibrant US-EU alliance… it just isn’t the WEF path they’ve been committed to the last 25+ years.
So in the end theyll have to decide if they want to face China and the AI century that’s coming as a deindustrialized zone absent of any cohesive culture and meaningful military alone or with us on a path back to self sufficiency and respect for the freedoms of their citizens.
Because what they’ve been pushing for isn’t just unproductive, it’s deeply post humanist and dangerous for everyone who isn’t running the globalist institutions.
That’s a presidential speech.

He should have memorized it instead of reading. If he could have done just that much he'd be way up further than a good, great guy that read a great speech.
I hope he had much input on it.
With that said I'd like to know who and how many worked on his speech. It was Very Good!
This is my only knock on him and it seems a bit petty. I loved what he said and we need more like him. If we could get a POTUS that could say all that off the cuff, and mean it we'd be turning the world around for the next 15 years.
Democrats would have to move back toward the center / reality or dissappere.

It is absolutely incredible how much more eloquent Rubio is than AOC and Kamala. He speaks common sense and everyone understands what he is saying. It is mind boggling that people vote for the current Democratic leaders.

I wouldn't rule him out for the top spot. I don't think it's a slam dunk that Vance will be the nominee in 2028.
