Chins up people, don't let heartless libs see you hurting. Don't give them any reason to gloat. Rush showed incredible bravery during his illness. We need to carry on his legacy with all he's taught us.
You are correct sir

Rush built a living on calling spades, spades, in a world where obfuscation is the preferred method of discourse and the truth is shunned.
Someone will fill those shoes.

Winter 1989 at a duck camp with my friends. It was my senior year in high school. A guy introduced Rush to me. I was hooked for the next 30 plus years. I am beyond sad about his passing but more than a little scared that we don’t have his voice. We need it now more than ever.

Huge hit against the truth.

Talent returned to God.
Thanks, God, for letting us borrow Rush for a time.

Sad day. Built an entire genre on his on. Even if you don’t agree with his politics—you cannot dismiss that no one did radio better.

Very sad day indeed. No one can replace him.
Talent on loan from God.

I cannot remember when he was not on the radio. My first real job had me driving all over AL MS and FL Panhandle and listening to him. Sad day today.

I remember his very first national show, 1106 am central, Monday August 1, 1988. I heard the first few bars of the Pretenders’ “My City Was Gone”, and I knew that this radio show was going to be different. Rush had replaced Owen Spann, a rather boring left-leaning guy, cancelled by ABC Talkradio the prior Friday. RIP Rush.

Don't know why, but I had him down for older than 70.
RIP

Golden microphone exchanged for a pearly one. Rest in peace, advocate for freedom.

Kind of reminds me of losing Paul Harvey having grown up hearing that voice.
My first real job I would sit in the car and listen to Rush during lunch hour. I didn't always agree but the voice is a loss to radio and conservatives.

Just now broke it on CNN...20+ minutes after everyone else and last to do it. My friend just said they were talking about him negatively to boot...
