Yeah there were far far better statutes to use. They choose a route that was always going to lead to this.

To test the law.

And who do we pay.

Well apparently an 800 small business coalition has already sent letters to the WH and Congress demanding to be refunded

Hopefully consumers class action and turn around and sue those businesses as we all know, 90% was passed through in prices to consumers.

Ironically this is going to end up being a boon for the President as the tariffs have been the biggest thing propping up inflation, this should be a net positive for our economy

I had the same thought.

The court has at least given Trump the opportunity to save himself from himself and an easy scapegoat to blame it on.

He ought to thank them.

Easy to see this coming. Unforced error by the admin, there was no reason to do the tariffs this way.

I assume you're kidding (although you never know here), but you can't successfully sue a business just for raising prices to respond to operating costs going up.

If so easy and you saw it coming, why didn't you travel to DC meet with President Trump and show him your evidence? Could it be because you are full of dung?

Or racism or DEI nonsense or any other reason they felt like coming up with.

This is the correct answer.

And compete with the dozens or more people who sit with him every day and knew this?

This issue has been public for many months, and this was always the most likely outcome.

True. You for example.

I'm more than ready to educate you on what congress has authorized the Executive branch to do. Tariffs is one of them.

So Judge Roberts and company think Jasmine and AOC can do a better job negotiating tariffs and foreign country matters.

You act like there’s zero chance the president overstepped his legal authority. It doesn’t mean his shite is a bad idea. Just means he needs some legal support. You know. From our elected representatives.

It wasn't unforced. It was intentional. He made them rule.
