I didn’t just wipe their butts nor lived vicariously through them because I was too much of a Jersey chaser to do it in real life. I did that shite for real. I came up with the plans and did the briefs for Admirals/Generals. I did 2 MEUs with helo companies and then did the Marine version of an ODA. I worked with every unit except The Unit under the DoD and even 3 letter agencies. Now you go on spouting off about shite you barely know about because your swimmers made a kid with balls enough to do what you couldn’t.

I never said what I did or didn’t do when I was younger. Before you claim credit by saying you “worked with” which is code for straps who don’t want to claim strap status, look up what AFSC 27370 would have meant in the 80s.
My crew chief kid doesn’t like be with me he carries on a family tradition wearing an army uniform like his grandfather and those before him rather than the blue one I wore.
If you were in the 13th MEU between 2011 and 2013 or so, let me know because IF you were doing all those briefings I’m sure the CO of that unit will remember you and I’ll give that Missouri boy a call (nick name Chuck) and see how key you were to their success. All that planning you sound like the guy who says “we’re all important to the mission, no matter how far from the X” while sipping coffee safely staying a fobbit.

I think it may have to do with botched handling and blame placement on a Buds trainee’s death when he was over that command

"Appointed by Biden. Enough said." BINGO. Look at all the appointees that biden's handlers made, more & more turning out to be way over-their-heads in abilities. Despite the high numbers, it's still easier to list all the misfits than list 1-2 that were qualified. But his Sec. of Defense did more harm to this country's military than any other appointee, by far.
