The machine behind Biden doesn't even recognize this as a problem. They do not understand the JIT supply lines or their economic impact upon disruption.

This doesn't mean what you think it does. No matter what Trump did, China was still going to export a lot of goods. The US isn't China's only customer. Even a China doing 75% of their normal business would attract plenty of investors.
It's stupid to say that banks continuing to invest in the country with the world's 2nd largest GDP by far is proof that Trump was actually just trying to help his banker friends.

It’s not stupid to say when the phase 1 deal included the language that China agreed to limit forced partnerships for banks.
What is stupid is to deny this fact.

Just like so many other things that are run and managed by bureaucrats they have seemed to go to absolute shite since shite for brains, dementia ridden, pedophile Joe has taken over. The boats are here so there is no issue with the boats making it over here. The issues are within our ports. They are understaffed and just like with any staff shortages being experienced right now how do you compete with mandated unemployment and stimulus pay outs? When people are still able to eat without working there is no motivation to work. This has literally nothing to do with the tariffs and all to do with the people not working because they are living off of unemployment and stimulus money.

The transportation industry has been struggling for a long time. The recent problems are caused more by a global surge in demand than they are lack of "infrastructure".
The demand was significantly depressed during the height of Covid. At the same time, governments around the world injected Trillions of dollars into the economies.
Since things have opened back up, demand has skyrocketed and suppliers cannot keep up.

The point is the trade war-the tariffs on Americans—had as a major goal the elimination of forced partnerships for American banks doing business in China.
Now I agree those forced partnerships are stupid BUT nobody is making US banks invest there. The government should not punish us in order to help special interest groups like big banks do business in China.

I work in the international logistics industry. Under Trump, confidence in U.S. manufacturing rose and export shipment volume went up.
Under Biden, and I'll give credit to Covid as well, export fell off the face of the planet.
Right now export is picking back up a bit but through no action or thanks of Biden's admin.
