The majority believe the fairy tale of critical race theory, so no one really cares what y'all think.

The party of slavery and Jim Crow.

Which is why African-Americans overwhelmingly vote for the Republican party...oh wait.

Trump absolutely wasn't respected. I'm not sure where this idea that he was respected is coming from. Most people internationally thought he was a joke and America had gone crazy.

Nations around the world are well known I guess for naming streets, bridges, buildings, monuments, even mountains and lakes, for those they think of as a joke. If so, there's gonna be a whole lotta stuff named Slow Joe the Dim Witted Illegitimate Puppet soon.

Civil Rights Act for one. Signed into law by LBJ and shepherded through by Senate leader Mike Mansfield who was a Democrat.

Passed thanks to the Republicans in the house and senate. More Democrats voted against the Civil Rights Act than Republicans. Oh and that’s pretty awesome you had to go back to the 1960’s to make that claim —over half a century ago!

I thought your ilk doesn’t like to claim the 1960’s Democrats with all the segregationist and racist back then. That was back when Robert Byrd was a full time exalted cyclops in the KKK. Funny how his bust is still in the senate chamber and nobody including Joe Biden has condemned Byrd or took his statues down anywhere.

Quite the contrary Biden praised Byrd at his funeral.

This is true, he wasn't respected...but he was feared! And if I were the leader of the most powerful country on Earth I would rather be feared than respected.
And our country was in the best shape it has ever been in several categories. The one caveat that raised its' ugly head continuously was racial division. And we all know that Barack Obama was to blame for most of that!

I forgot to mention the elephant in the room, inflation! This is like a huge tax and it hurts the poor the most. You would think the left would fight for these constituents. If you're not increasing your pay by 12% you are losing money. I suspect we will have a crash soon but I hope I'm wrong; can't keep manipulating the economy.

let's all be clear on this propaganda.

And yet you offered not one iota of 'clearness' relative to the 'propaganda'

both China and deep state vs putin and trump.

I've been around long enough to derive one test that is undefeated in sniffing out the real distinction between 'coincidence' and 'manufactured incident' = and that is to ask the simple question:

"who does this benefit?"

followed by:

"how do these perceived 'winners' react to the event?"

when you apply this test to Covid-19 incident and examine the reaction of the DEM cabal and China in its wake - you have the obvious answer right in front of you.

quote:

China and deep state

OK - how did the two react?
= China
- modified air travel to protect themselves but expose rest of world.
- hid all involved lab personnel from any sort of questioning
- 'disappeared' Chinese scientists who tried to question the conclusions
- had worked pre-outbreak to acquire PPE assets.

= deep state
- set up Dr. Fauci as the voice of 'science.'
- established the dictum of 'follow the science.'
- demanded the 'science' be rigidly followed thru every u-turn and random pronouncement
- rolled out their heavy artillery of "raycisss" and "xenophobia" to ridicule any hesitancy at the u-turns
- exercised every lever of power they had to wreak havoc on economy with arbitrary and prolonged closures
- hauled out their customary tactics of fear-mongering and somethingphobia against any attempt to discuss obvious issues.
- replaced every voter security provision on basis of "pandemic protection" that resulted in the most improbable and questionable election in the history of the nation
- used their razor-thin 'majority' to establish those measures for eternity
- enshrined the data about the election into deep cover-up status and fought like cornered skunks to every attempt to look behind the curtain.
-

quote:

putin and trump

= Putin
- did what Putin does, no change in anything
- laughed at asinine assertions

= Trump
- met the accusations head-on
- correctly called it a hoax and down-right LIE from the git-go
- was the most transparent and cooperative target of any special counsel type investigation in history
- provided complete data for every request
- allowed the 'investigation' to go forward unimpeded in the face of the most obvious abuse of power ever seen in our history
- displayed every tendency of a totally innocent man throughout the ordeal.
- finally was proven that the whole thing was a deliberate hoax to try to 'find something - anything' - and the failure was spectacular.

quote:

one of the beauties of myth making is to make the mechanics of any trip ups seem magical by means of super human effort. both China and deep state vs putin and trump.

so what is your point relative to = 'myth making?'

No, I'm not offering hear-say testimony - you are.

I didn't make the claim. The onus is on you to back it up. I demonstrated that a majority of Democrats voted for the CRA (you claimed otherwise but even your own link shows you were wrong).

You did and then said you were an eye-witness. No court of opinion would rule on just an eye-witness.

Ok - I am done with you.

You have never demonstrated one trait that makes you a worthy, or even tolerable, opponent in any intellectual or moral discussion.

You are like the fan whose team just got destroyed on your own field by your arch-rival and took all your girl-friends with them when they left, but you are declaring victory because you stole a chin-strap they left behind after their victory celebration.

enjoy.

I personally hated Trump, but I was smart enough to realize he was clearly the only choice. I thought he had a fantastic and mostly achievable 2nd term agenda. These idiots think we live in a power vacuum where no one outside of this country is trying to hurt us. Trump in the very least fundamentally understood that. People are shortsighted and idiots.

NAME ONE if you can.
=======
Jon Tester (Democrat senator for Montana)
quote:

OK - I will retract my dismissal of you to respond to this one request that I had not seen prior to my previous reply.

Congratulations - you are only progressive who has ever responded to this question that I have posed to almost every dedicated pre-DEM over the past few years.

Jon Tester - Montana
= first, I had no opinion on him at all - which made me think that he had kept his nose out of all the idiotic ideological hysteria that brands modern DEMs on the national level.

So - I looked at his own website.

I found that he is rather routine citizen in all respects. The only disagreement I have with his stated goals is his opposition to a 'voucher' system. But I think his objection was to Montana's unique situation (and that is his job as a Montana Senator - good for him) He does not object to the voucher system as a general concept, and actually seems to think it would be a good idea in urban areas. He just doesn't want in forced on his state. And I agree. I don't know of anyone who is campaigning on the basis of failed Montana schools.

What IS evident is that URBAN schools are total disasters, and THOSE are the only targets of conservative demands for improvement.

ONLY radical DEMs want these dens of incompetence to be forced on minority communities forever, because that is where their future 'voters' come from - and provide the rich source for future 'disadvantaged' folk which DEMs can use in their continued efforts to KEEP THEM DISADVANTAGED.

so - good for you - I will admit there is ONE good democrat at the national level.

BUT - I will also mention that the ONLY "great successes" he touts in his own website are the times he partnered with PRESIDENT TRUMP to accomplish good things for America.

Namely -
- Reformation of the VA to better service our veterans on a timely and quality basis
- Support for the Keystone Pipeline which served to strengthen out energy capacity

So great find - I will forthwith use Sen Tester as an EXEMPLAR of those on the other side who can be trusted. But the pickings there are awfully slim.

My situation exactly - I voted for him both times, but had great reservations in '16 about his electability, and I personally hated his nacrcissim.

I've stated all my reasons too often to relate them here again.

Look at all your dv’s. Are you being disrespected? Or are you going against the majority.

Now how about Trump? Was he disrespected or going against the majority?

Now who was the majority, our government leaders, world leaders. If that’s what you support don’t cry foul as this all shakes out.

Thats because you don’t have a fisking clue. Trump wasn’t liked at all, but he was respected because he’d hit you in the mouth if he thought you needed it.

I’ve got a couple decades of dealings in the Middle East. Weakness they despise, and there’s not much weaker than a liberal.

Actually I’m not sure there’s anything weaker come to think of it.
