The Trump Administration has moved forward on many other health care fronts. The Administration has proposed spending reductions for both Medicaid and Medicare, along with proposals that would promote flexibility for states but limit eligibility for coverage under Medicaid (e.g., work requirements). The President has made prescription drug prices a top health policy priority and has issued several executive orders and other proposals that aim to lower drug prices; most of these proposals, however, have not been implemented, other than one change that would lower the cost of insulin for some Medicare beneficiaries with diabetes, and another that allows pharmacists to tell consumers if they could save money on their prescriptions. The Trump Administration has also moved forward with an initiative to improve price transparency in an effort to lower costs, though it is held up in the courts. President Trump has made other policy changes that have had a direct impact on reproductive rights, immigration, and on other health care issues that convey his priorities for the future.

Cool.

I think my point still stands, whatever that says about you.

Trump planned to trust that John McCain would do what he said, hundreds of times, that he would do.

Don’t care. That is a congressional function to the extent it’s a job for the fedgov at all.

Did John McCain ever actually accomplish anything substantive whatsoever in his political career beyond being re-elected?

John McCain?
The guy who ditched his wife and kids for a rich woman 18 years younger than himself?
The guy who improperly intervened for S&L firms? And then tried to do penance with McCain-Feingold?
The guy who kept Obamacare to spite Trump?
The guy who passed shitty rumors to the Feds about Trump and Russia because he’s a bitch?

Yeah. No.
There’s lots of guys who are better people than McCain. He’s a bottom quintile guy when it comes to integrity.

Wrong. Medical care isn't the same as buying groceries or buying merchandise. Free-market conditions don't apply when purchasing services that many wouldn't be able to afford, but everyone needs.

Nobody gets turned away from the ER. Are you saying the government should run the healthcare system? Have you ever dealt with the VA?

I think Obamacare passed in 2010(?). $2500 savings per year for 12 years = $30K. Where is it? My family saw no savings…quite the contrary. We’ve been paying much, much more during the Obamacare years.

And you just outed how stupid you are. Refresh your world view by reading up on the latest Supreme Court rulings.

Hint: The executive doesnt make the rules on how the country runs, the legislature has to do that

They alone passed Obamacrap, and then refused to repeal it

And that makes him accomplished or worthy of admiration, etc?

No thanks. John McCain did nothing whatsoever during his Senate career beyond fence-sit.
