We were told we couldn't not carry weapons into an active law enforcement operation because it could cause problems.

Well...

MN state law required that even IF this guy had a permit (which I have yet to see proven) he MUST have that permit AND a government issued ID such as a DL when carrying. Yet we learned that he had neither yesterday.

So he was truly committing “gun crimes” like the leftist filth always loves to call out.

Fitting…

Watch all the videos and tell me again how he was impeding them?

With all that is going on in Minnesota if you are OUT IN THAT WEATHER AND within 100 feet and are or have been menacing law-enforcement in this case ICE, then you are there to impede law-enforcement. Period.
Your life is in danger. He fooled around and found out.

When was he suppose to let them know he was carrying? While they were spraying mace in his mouth, or bashing him in the face with the can?
Preferably through email while sitting at home and avoiding interfering with LEOs.

I belong to a Sheriff’s bass club in south LA. I frequently have deputies in plain clothes with me in my truck. They are required to carry their service weapon EVERYWHERE; Even in a bass boat. They also know I am licensed to carry although I’m a civvy.

One time I had a deputy with me and we got pulled over. When the trooper walked to my window and asked for ID, the deputy with me immediately let the trooper know he had a loaded weapon and so did I without being asked. He also stated we were licensed to carry the stated he was in law enforcement. AND did not ask for favor.

He told me that if I were alone and got pulled over and wanted to avoid TONS of problems that I was supposed to make those same declarations immediately to the officer. SOP.

If this guy that got shot in MN didn’t let officers know he was carrying down here and behaved like an arsehole plus resisted like he did with the gun on him I was told by one of my boys today that he would probably be subject to the same end result.

I was always told anytime you are pulled over or encounter LEOs while carrying always let them know first thing.

I got lost driving around on a business trip in TX, and missed a stop sign. Got pulled over. First question the cop asked me was if I had a gun in my vehicle. Didn't. Never been asked that before.

All that is based on DA’s and judge’s opinions. Would you trust judges with your future right now?

Absolutely correct.

And just a PSA, there are advanced classes a person can enroll in, that teach you effective de-escalation practices that also put you in a favorable position to have the immediate upper hand if the de-escalation attemp fails.

Always aim for a peaceful outcome while putting yourself in an advantageous position and expecting the peaceful resolution to fail. Then, if peaceful resolution prevails, it's a nice bonus.

People are completely unhinged these days and have no conflict resolution skills. There are many who would rather just kill you than think ahead and walk away.

You crazed banshees haven’t been right about anything so far, you’re too emotional. Go screeching and blowing your rape whistles all you want but you are wrong on this as well.
