Absolutely not. They should be investigated to the fullest.
Better than investigating after the abuse, our nation should focus our efforts on prevention.
Stop supporting the grooming of children through the education system.
No more tranny show book reading or tranny club field trips chaperoned by public school teachers.
No more secretive transitioning support counseling or administering hormone blockers without parental consent in our schools.
Remember, they swore they were born that way!
If that had a modicum of truth, the groomers wouldn't need to groom new recruits.

I just wish I had more faith in the process.
This all stems from some lies that the SBC was trying to cover up sexual abuse by not keep a database of people who were convicted of sexual abuse who may also have been attending an SBC church. It's nonsensical.

I was raised as a JFK classic democrat but I left a few years ago because they're now run by people that want to destroy the country however the level of denial and attack here is insane ..did none of you'll read the part about the pattern of sex crimes??? If this was a tranny organization you'lld be throwing a party and celebrating and rightfully so, you'lls blind spot is as bad as theirs

If they are gonna investigate church government for sexual abuse the should start with catholics. They have control over every priest and diocese the sbc does not.

Honestly, SBC leadership was asking for this by entertaining the outlandish abuse claims from people who clearly just want to end the denomination. They gave legitimacy to rumors and allowed that to overshadow multiple conferences at this point.
ETA: Last year they allowed sheer rumor to ruin Mike Stone's bid for SBC president.

It doesn’t help that ERLC counsel actually argued that SBC has authority over local churches.
