Nah, more like a kid kicking and screaming and saying hes leaving home only to take a sack of my groceries and take up residence in the treehouse in the backyard. You wanna dictate terms to us? Fine. But don’t then expect us to foot your bills and protect your arse.

Spain, violates this law:
Also Spain:
quote:
NATO laws are fundamentally defined by the 1949 North Atlantic Treaty, an intergovernmental agreement based on collective defense and international law. The core legal obligation, Article 5, mandates that an armed attack on one member is an attack against all, requiring members to assist, including with armed force.
Also Spain:

They’re not violating that law.

I really really want to know what is going on behind the scenes to make these 'leaders' totally give up their sovereignty and willingly submit to islam - often to irrational and blatantly self-destructive lengths (cough, UK, cough).
Is it simply just fear over what would happen if they push back now that there are such large populations of muslims in their country?

They have Don Quixote syndrome, believing they're anything other than a washed up, has-been global power that is an embarrassment to the memory of the Conquistadors.
