Foreclosures will be happening there as the lack of interest on housing at the height of market uncertainty will be huge there

Yep.. and it will get worse before it gets better.. but at least there is a plan to make it better.. if we didn't make changes, we would collapse at some point.. shite, it's so bad that it still may collapse at some point

I would not read too much into this. The home buying/selling season is typically March-July. So, seeing more homes coming on the market it normal for this time of year.

Maybe we should pool our resources and buy some properties, then rent them out as VRBOs. There are people who, come the summer, want a place to stay while visiting all the historical sites and museums there.

While I don't doubt there will be a rise in homes for sale in the DC area, a screenshot does not tell you anything.
What is the current market compared to past years? That will tell you if anything is happening yet.
