The history of US military forced regime changes is for the most part an absolute disaster. Believing it’ll be different this time is just hopium and vibes (even though I do in fact hope it’s different this time )

But we’re talking justification. Or does that even matter anymore? Is it irrelevant?

We need to stop acting surprised when communists come out in support of communists.

The press conference just shot down that narrative. They were running for their safe room.

Oh wow! But Obama and Hillary can “KILL” Gaddafi and it’s all good!

These lefties have zero surrounding awareness.

Venezuelans and Hispanics across the world are celebrating and in pure joy right now, but the Woke left is furious.

It doesn’t matter what good Trump does, these evil pieces of filth on the left are going to twist and bend the narrative to lie and complain.

How long until the truth comes out and shows that his was another lie?
Given the hour (2:00am by current reports), where would YOU expect them to have been found?

The martyrdom is strong in this one.

The Left ... believe Trump has illegally kidnapped Maduro.
Not sure about "kidnapping," but the capture is (to be generous) of ... questionable ... legality under international law.

As Indefatiguable said, however, who is able to do anything about it?

None of which constitutes "support of Maduro." That is a childish analysis.

Illegal according to who??

According to the voting in Venezuela where he lost then threw out the count and declared himself the winner.

It would be so much easier to have conversations on here if people actually did some research.

To be clear, do you think if any country indicts a foreign leader in their courts, they should be allowed to do what we did last night?

No, not any country anywhere.

But can the United States do it in the Western Hemisphere?

Which is UTTERLY irrelevant to Wade's point.

Noriega tried to argue his capture was illegal as well and lost on appeal. I suspect the same thing will happen here if leftists start challenging Maduro’s capture.

Pretty sad when you side with a homicidal dictator just because you don’t like an orange man.
No sadder than labeling someone a homicidal dictator because your cult leader is following the Deep State/globalist agenda of regime change.

I’m not opposing it at all, but I have no problem admitting that hostile apprehension of a foreign head of state is probably in some sort of legal gray area.

What's " utterly " irrelevant is you changing names Pedohank.

My point is it can't be problematic when Madura was illegally in charge of the company in the first place
