Agreed. How many rigged games have gone down for the past 5 years? The saints got fricked. The chiefs didn't get called for holding once during the last superbowl. Its corrupt. Turn your back on that fig shite.

In my opinion, the whole point of the anthem is for mass amounts of people to pause and take stock in the exceptional freedoms and opportunities they have in this country.

Not anymore, digital Cable boxes have made TV viewership info instantaneous, and drives the value of advertising timeslots without waiting for ratings to come back from a survey company.
If people stop watching, the games are worthless for the network to waste money carrying. They would lose more money by televising them. The networks are the customer of the NFL, they pay for a product that is supposed to have a value, when it is no longer profitable for the networks, they go away.

Two years ago you have two major metro franchises (Rams and Patriots) and they had LESS fans in Atlanta than showed up later to watch Major League Soccer (which is HARDLY major league when compared to the European leagues).
Last year the crowd was the second-smallest EVER, the only Super Bowl crowd smaller was before it was called the Super Bowl.

While this is true more revenue is generated from TV contracts. If people really want to make an impact they will turn off the TV and stop buy products that sponsor the nfl. I don’t see either one happening.

In fairness, it was over regardless of who won that game. But I hear ya, the 49ers have won plenty. The beauty of sports is it is a true meritocracy. The NFL has abandoned that.

I've never liked Mike Florio, but finally removed PFT from my bookmarks a couple of weeks ago. A few days later, pretty much every headline on the NFL's website was related to Floyd/race, so it seemed like a good time to remove them too.
I'm sure it's only gotten worse since I bailed out.
