I read several threads quoting rumors just today and yesterday, that Israel was pushing hard for US involvement and Trump was going to do it.
A couple days ago I read rumors on this board that Stealth Bombers had departed Missouri and we're headed to the ME, and it was dismissed as "they're just on routine missions to Guam".
There were leaks. No one took them seriously. If Democrats weren't briefed, the leaks obviously came from Republicans. No?

Unfortunate but a good and necessary move.
After everything since 2016 there is no reason at all to believe committee Dems would have cooperated and remained quiet to help ensure success for a DJT admin decision.
They would have done quite the opposite to be certain.
