It is the perfect setup. You can float changes/decisions (or use one of your ducks that are all clearly not in a row), see how it goes over and received publicly, and then scream, "FAKE NEWS!" if you don't like what you hear.

Remember the leak last week that there would be a 90 day pause on tarriffs? The leak the White House vehemently denied? I do.
Well this board lost it's shite and babbled about "fake news" on that as well, and what happened? Well we find out the leak was true and the tarriffs were indeed paused.
In a few days, somebody somewhere will cough up the truth about all this shite but as per usual, it won't be the White House.

This is another one. The US Customs office 100% released the exceptions, and now Trump denies it.
I believe Customs over Trump every day, any day.
