certainly understand the difficulty remembering everyone’s views on gparticular issues. Maybe it would be a good idea not to accuse someone of holding particular views, if you don’t remember them

Fair enough. I will watch.

that said I'm pretty damn libertarian myself. I'm fine with gay marriage anti-death penalty. I'm a pro religious freedom atheist which really fricks with liberals. Pro-second Amendment absolutist. Pro drug legalization or at least most drugs. I'd like to see reduced sentencing for great many crimes but not really the worst ones.

And quite obviously on for lower taxes and dramatically smaller government. as for military I would frankly prefer we pull out of all these foreign countries we are in

Ha.

Honestly if you just watched a bunch of videos of Milton Friedman you might as well be watching videos of me. Hell we're both short!

senators aren't based on population

Their penchant has to take the guise of pure democracy, but we know it for what it really is - mob rule.

He's right about the Senate, however. The Founding Fathers set it up to do the business of the States, while the House looks after the interest of the people. Senators were to be appointed by the governors/ state legislatures, as it should be.

The 17th Amendment needs to be repealed.

I wonder if I contacted David Perdue & Johnny Isakson regarding a constitutional amendment to repeal the 17th Amendment would go anywhere? Who am I kidding?

Purdue's predecessor Zell Miller was a huge proponent of 17A repeal. I'm sure he spoke with both about it.

Besides, it can be done with a Constitutional convention, too. We don't have to have their permission.

It's crazy they don't even acknowledge that we're not a pure democracy.

I hear this constantly.....talking heads referring to America as a democracy. But I'm not surprised. Our secular educational system, including many of our school districts have abandoned Civics as required HS study. Then along comes CNN et al and they exploit the lack of understanding of our system of government as outlined in a basic Civics course. Huumm? Maybe that would be something we "Deplorables" could undertake. Go to the our respective school board meetings and push to make Civics a required HS course, if it's not already required.

I mean it's up to us to save this representative government under our Constitutional Republic form of government.

MAGA!
