No. There are people who are critical of Trump for starting the war. Because there is very little upside if we win the war and very significant downside if we lose the war.
Trump has had incoherent messaging on the war. He claims we already won the war and it threatening to bomb Iran back into the stone age...which for the most obvious reasons would be unnecessary if we already won the war.

The reality is that Iran’s definition of “victory” in this war is a much lower bar than American victory.
Victory for the USA means: reopening of the strait of Hormuz, collapse of the IRGC, abandonment of all nuclear ambitions, eradication of all Iranian proxy groups.
Victory for Iran means: just stay alive.

Truth. The messaging has been all over the place. Trump has given us different, and at times conflicting objectives. Anyone who really thinks this will be over in a few weeks is deluded.
