If you have early voting it must be limited to one week before Election Day and be in person with photo id.

Lots of good points already made. I agree the final count should be completed on Election night. With increasing availability of early voting, voting by mail should be limited to a very few situations. It's gonna be at least 2 1/2 more weeks before CA finalizes their votes. CA is 100% mail in ballots. They're much slower to count than are typical ballots. In addition, the voter has up to one MONTH to mail in their ballot in CA!

A couple of those Cali seats should go to Republicans unless the dims find a box of votes the 'forgot' about.

Never underestimate those 4AM ballot dumps that magically go 90%+ for the Dems,

In California the mail in votes must be postmarked by election day and can be received up to one week later (yesterday) In theory all of their votes are in now they just have to be counted now . Mail in voting for all seems like a terrible way to get these votes in.

Looks like the information I earlier read was erroneous. I still think mail in ballots should have a VERY limited role, but CA's system is not as bad as I'd read. Thx for the info.

Going on over a week. 5 of them in CA. Some of the CA ones still are under 70% counted.

Agreed. Even if you were counting by hand you would be done by now.
